Bates Footwear Zero Mass 8"

These boots are very light, the fit is looser than most boots. I was expecting these boots to have a fit like the nike or rocky counterparts, however, they have a very unforgiving insole combined with the loose sizing easily gives blisters. The eyelets for the boot laces started popping out after less than two weeks. I was very disappointed with these boots. Used them for two weeks in the field, didn't stand up against the competition. In the closet they will stay.

These boots are great. They weigh less than one standard issue are boot combined. I wore them in the field for three weeks and I am not disappointed. I had an issue with an eyelet, but Zappos cleared that up. They are incredibly comfortable as well. The only reason they do not get a five is because they are hard to get on until they break in and relax.
I'd also recommend: Oakley
