By far one of the best uniform shoes I have ever had. At first try they felt fantastic. Extremely comfortable and very true to size. These are fantastic and I will buy a second pair for back up. I give them a ten star canceling out the less than 5 star reviews!
Brands I'd also recommend: Merrell, Patogonia

I have owned at least 12 pairs of either the Delta low or Delta mid. The iCS system is great. I have horrible feet and these things are crazy supportive. They are as ugly as sin for my office job but I wear them anyway. great urban hiker. The bread an butter owner of these shoes are law enforcement folks. They are very light despite their level of support. That comes at one high price. They break down really fast. If you wear them daily, you have 5-6 months tops. If you want something more stylish, Wolverine purchased the iCS system from Bates and many of their shoes have the same system. I do not have experience with them yet, however, I will be trying some soon.

I work 12 hour shifts for security on pavement and other hard surfaces. These shoes are simply amazing for work! They were stiff when I first put them on and after one day of work they were significantly broken in and starting to form to my feet. I also loved the heel adjustment, which let me set them to the exact adjustment that felt good for me. I would buy another pair if I lost these. They seem very durable as well. One size smaller than my regular shoe size though; I am a 10 and a half, but I ordered a 10 and they fit great.

Even the 4E is a little narrow. It felt a little tight on top of the foot. If the "Delta Low" was just a little taller in back, it would feel more secure. Had to go a half size larger to get one that fit.

Nice shoe but the black upper was much glossier than the photos show. Probably good if you wear a uniform, but too flashy for casual use. The sole is very aggressive looking and in profile, the shoe has an odd shape. Definitely a good shoe for someone on their feet for long hours. Good support and comfort, and not as heavy as I was expecting for a solid-toe shoe. I wish the top eyelet hole was a speed lace hook because the laces are a bit too short to easily grab and pull tight.

Given that this is a below ankle shoe, I tried to slip into it without unlacing it. Unfortunately I slightly crushed the (presumably) plastic heel support in the back side of the heel and now I can't wear the shoe at all because the crumpled bit digs into the back of my heel. Only got to wear the shoe one time. I bought it specifically so that I could slip them on and off without untying them and I'm very disappointed that they're broken so easily. Before this happened, the shoes were very comfortable.
