I normally wear a 7-1/2 wide. I ordered a 7-1/2 double wide and could not even get my foot into it with a thin sock. I also tried a double wide 8 (to allow for a thick sock). I could get my foot in, but only with a thin sock. Once the boot was on, it felt very stiff and uncomfortable. Back they went! I'll try a different brand next time.

Beautiful boot, but sizing is WAY off - This boot looks even better in person than online, feels toasty and warm to the touch. Unfortunately they have to go back because the sizing is WAY off. I wear a 6.5 M, but ordered a 6.5 WIDE so that I could accommodate a thicker sock...I couldn't even get my foot into the boot. This boot is definitely sized shorter and narrower than usual.

This boot was exactly what I was looking for - warm, fits under a pair of jeans, and looks nice enough to wear on errands. I recommend that if you have high arches, buy a half size larger so you can fit your insoles in the shoe. The shoe fits true to size, but there is little extra room for inserts. Also fits a little wide in the heel, but is good for someone with large calves. Kept me very warm and dry as I trudged all around Whistler this year.
