I get around by walking and biking, and after having two pairs of Urban Outfitters sandals give me huge blisters on both feet and then fall apart this summer, I've been on a mission to find something durable, comfy, and reasonably cute. So far, these fit the bill: they're built like tanks, with sturdy soles and leather bits, and nothing rubs. Awesome. My only complaints are that they make weird wheezing sounds when I walk and that the insole is pretty white and very visible. Also, I think they're a bit long for a 9. They pair super well with bellbottoms and flowy white shirts, though, so I can't complain too much. I just don't wear them in silent places.

I was delighted with these shoes when I first received them - they were very comfortable, basic/classic in appearance, and well-priced. After about a month of wearing them, the leather heel strap ripped in half. Other reviewers had commented that this might happen, but I took the risk when I shouldn't have...

Cute and comfortable. I was looking for an appropriate shoe for my 10 year old who wears a woman's size shoe, but obviously needs styling for a child. This worked perfectly. It goes with everything, isn't babyish, but isn't too mature either. She was happy, I was happy.

These sandals are more elegant in person. They are true to size and just wide enough for a W width rating. The sole has a great cushion when you walk almost like Dr. Scholls feeling. The cranberry color leather is rich and vibrant. I love them!
I'd also recommend: American Eagle sandals

Comfort! Style! Quality! All in ONE STYLE! I have very wide feet, and I have had several stress fractures on one foot, midway between my pinkie and heel. Because of this, it's been SO HARD to find a good shoe that fits everywhere - width, size (length) and also fits my budget and my sense of style. Well, if this is also a problem for you, LOOK NO MORE! These sandals may not be incredibly "sexy", but they're definitely cool and not "geriatric-looking". They are so comfortable; it's like walking on pillows! They're adjustable across the top and around the ankle. The bottom is shock-resistant, and you literally can't feel ordinary gravel or rocks under your feet in these shoes (something I've always HATED). I bought these in Cinnamon, which is closer to a reddish-maroon color than brown, and then bought them in black. My all-time favorite shoe is SAS Duo, but they are almost impossible to find, may be discontinued, and are almost 3 times the price. These Bass Joanne's are perfect. They'll last years - just like my other Bass sandals. (I've actually had a pair of Bass Margie's for 6 years and you wouldn't know it looking at the sole!). I bought a WW, but I might have been able to go for just a plain "W". Nevertheless, they're adjustable, so I have absolutely no problem; I just made them a bit tighter across the top. If you need a comfortable shoe that you can (a) walk in, (b) stand in for long periods of time, and (c) fits your budget, then this shoe is for YOU! And Please, LET'S NOT FORGET HOW GREAT ZAPPOS IS! I found these to have great quality and to be very attractive for a flat sandal. I no longer can wear heels. I love the Cinnamon color. I am normally a 9 1/2 Regular width, but I read reviews, which I find helps a lot, it's very important and decided to go with the majority and got 9 1/2 wide and it was perfect. I love them! The real test will be next summer!
