Bass Penny Loafer - I wore this type of loafter all through high school 1966-70, loved it then and while browsing on-line found it again and ordered the same shoe style. Received it and it is comfortable and looks great. Wish it came in a navy color.

I too wore these in high school in the laste 60's and learly 70's. We had navy, green, red, burgandy, and brown. Had to have ALL colors. They last forever and I have rediscovered them. Bass, please think about making them in navy.

Good Style Never Changes - I wore penny loafers like these throughout high school in the early 1960s. They're wonderful shoes -comfortable and still in style. I wish Bass would make them in some other colors, like red.

Great loafers - I love the shoes. A minor problem though, is the right shoe seems bigger, as my heel slips. I put a pad in the heel curve and wear heavier socks. Unusual, as I wear this brand and style all the time.

Bass Casell - I had looked for a year in the local stores for these shoes and was unable to find them. Someone told me about Zappos and low and behold there they were. The comfort of these shoes was something that I remembered from owning them years ago and was why I wanted them again. They are versatile for wardrobe and the comfort is unsurpassed.

A great penny loafer - I love this shoe, you don't even have to break it in. However, I do think it runs 1/2 size larger than marked. I ordered a 7 and should have ordered a 6 1/2 and will probably return mine for the smaller size. However, the leather is very soft and the shoe has so much cushion that it certainly doesn't feel like the old loafers when you first got them. This shoe requires no "breaking in time".

Nostalgic Comfort and Looks - My new Bass Casell loafers have transported me back more than 30 years to high school, when my mother purchased my first pair of Bass 'penny' loafers. The look, feel, and style of these shoes actually makes me feel young again! They are great with jeans or semi-casual clothing, and they have drawn admiring comments from other folks who also remember when this loafer was hot, hot, hot among teens and even some adults. They are worth every penny I paid for them, and will definitely buy another pair when these are ready to be 'recycled'. I love 'em!

Great shoes & company - I love the shoes, the left shoe was a little tight at the big toe, but conformed to my foot after wearing them for awhile. Penny loafers seem to be a little snug when new. I have always loved penny loafers, been looking for them for 2 years. Zappos.com is a great website, very easy to navigate, shows shoes from all angles, and cares about the customers satisfaction.

This loafer not as great as I expected... I've had Bass loafers before, and I have always loved them. This pair, however, just didn't work for me. The color isn't what I expected; it is a burgandy with black "airbrushed" highlights. I would have prefered plain burgandy. Also, I always wear normal width shoes, but these are too narrow, to the point where they almost pinch my heel. This is a good looking shoe (despite the color), but the fit wasn't comfortable, and I am going to return them.

Classy Shoe - These shoes are great, I live in an area with inclimate weather, and my shoes definitely see their share of snow and ice. Not only have they held up well so far, they still look good. And they're comfortable too!
