These shoes run very narrow, no difference between medium and wide widths. What a shame as they are very soft and I'm sure they would be comfortable if one has very narrow feet. I've sent two pair back and won't try another pair.

Great shoes. Broke in fast, and very comfortable. I ordered the larger width, and that was the right move. Color is very dark, almost black, but deep burgundy shines through in the light. These are the classic, college loafers - exactly what I wanted. Always in style!

These Bass loafers were super comfortable from the moment I put them on. I am not a wide foot normally but I purchased the wide because of the other reviews and I am glad that I did. The leather shapes to your foot rather quickly. The wide was just right for my normal width foot. The length was perfect to size. I love these shoes!

These are super preppy and comfortable if you order half a size above your regular size. As other reviewers said this style runs narrow so I, who always have been a M width ordered the Wide and they were perfect.

After receiving a pair of these shoes and wearing them for an hour, the left heel began to make a clicking feel and sound when I walked, obviously from an unfortunate factory assemblage. (By the way, do order this shoe a half size up - I am a 9 but ordered a 9.5 based on previous reviews and it fit like a glove.) Otherwise, this is a great loafer, comfortable and stylish. But what I must praise is the superior service of the Zappos customer service team. I contacted them with my situation and they promptly arranged to get a second pair to me at no additional charge and with 1 business day shipping. This is a company willing to bend over backwards to please their customer! Kudos Zappos!

These loafers are classics! I love them except I have wide feet and although I purchased the wide width, it was still a bit snug so I had to use a shoe stretcher for a few days to loosen them up. They are okay now. These are very comfortable and soft for the most part.

I have wanted a pair of penny loafers for a long time now, but could not find a pair anywhere. Ordering was easy on Zappos.com. The shoes came quite quickly. I usually where an 8.5, but these shoes run a bit smaller, so they did not fit. I called to find out what I needed to do to return them. The CSR sent a pre-printed/postage paid label to my email. She also checked to see if there was a size 9, which she did have and sent them out as a swap for what I was returning. I love the size 9's! I am very pleased with these for comfort, style, look, leather, and color. If I ever need another pair I would definitely get them. Ever since I have purchased these shoes I have been wearing them every day. They're great!

Width and comfort are great; quality is good for the price, but beware, the sizing runs a little small. I usually wear a size 6, but ended up with a 6 1/2.

I have been wanting a pair of bass weejuns for a long time and have always found them too narrow. The Casell comes with the option of wide width, which fit me perfectly. I've worn them for long periods, no break in needed! The price is pretty low, I'm pretty impressed with the quality and style. They look fantastic with or without socks, great with skinny jeans, skirts and dressy trousers. I'm bringing them on vacation with me as we'll be doing a lot of walking and I need something stylish and versatile! Love these shoes!
