These stylish brogues are a little fashion-forward for Bass in that they have a very sleek profile (would easily look great with skinny jeans or skirts). They don\'t have a chunky sole or built-in arch support, but they have a cushy rubber bottom that absorbs shock well and have enough room in them that your feet aren\'t crushed, so you\'re not sacrificing much comfort for style. I ordered my usual 7.5 and they fit great with thinnish socks. I highly recommend these!

I have to admit that I have been waiting for oxfords to come back into style for 10 years. I am ecstatic! This is a great pair of shoes. They are not too chunky, which keeps the menswear style from voyaging into masculine, and the patent leather dresses them up nicely. They are cute enough to wear with tights and a skirt for fall, but also look great with jeans, work pants, et cetera. On comfort, I cannot speak to Bass in general because this is the first pair of shoes I have worn from them. I will say that they are just a tad narrow, but the rest of the fit is quite good. Roomy toebox. Nice cushioning on the bottom.

Wear a M width, thought they ran a bit large and wider than the norm. Tried to order .5 down to compare, but were already gone. I think I will keep them anyway. They certainly will fit with many of the trends this season.

I love the occasional patent leather shoe and these shoes are no exception. They're comfortable and light. Based on other reviews, I ordered half a size down and that was a good decision.

I usually wear a size 9, even 9.5 in some athletic shoes, but after reading the reviews I got an 8.5 and it's the right size -- roomy, even. I love the boyish look in women's proportions. I'll be wearing this with a tailored suit to look professional at work. It could have more arch support and a little tighter craftsmanship, but it's a good value and a great dress shoe.

I wear an 8.5 or 9 normally but I found these to be very narrow across the toe. I ordered an 8.5 originally, in black and oxblood, but they are going back. Luckily this shoe is offered in a wide width so I re-ordered both the black and oxblood in 8.5W. These shoes are very classy looking and timeless. Unlike some of the other oxfords out this season, these still look feminine.

These are nice shoes, but I disagree with reviews that stated they ran big. I found that they run pretty much true to size or even on the smaller side. Unfortunately, my size was not available.

This shoe rubbed along of top of the heel area. Not very soft or giving leather.

Cute and stylish. But like most Bass, runs at least a half size small. And a Bass "Wide" really isn't.

Too small all over, even though it's half a size bigger than my normal size. I was hoping to get an orthotic in it, but no luck. The style is attractive but the suede looked to be of poor quality. It doesn't come in WW.

Just received these and absolutely love them! I chose these over similar styles from other brands, as they don't come up as far on the foot, toward the ankle - this makes your ankles look slimmer and has an overall more feminine effect (great for wearing with tights). I have a problem with shoes rubbing on the back of my ankles and these sit a bit lower, so that won't be a problem (not so low that they slip off the heels). I bought the cognac which is a bit darker than a true cognac and the photo on this site makes them look lighter than they really are- they're much nicer in person. I have wide feet and run 8.5 - 9. I got the 8.5 W and they're perfect! If you're new to Bass shoes, they run really narrow, but these are not as narrow as Bass sandals tend to be.

Very stylish shoe, great with pants or skirt. They do run a bit narrow and I usually wear a 6.5, but had to return for a 6. Hope they stretch a bit across the front area. Nice color!
