I had 10 pairs of black loafers sent to me- I went with these primarily on fit, but when it came down to the last 3 pairs they had the best combination of style and sole/foot bed comfort and fit. What really put these over the top for me is that I have a pair of Bass I bought about 12 years ago. These are still my most comfortable dress shoes and have weathered very well. So maybe I purchased based on brand, but I am very happy with them. The leather feels tougher/thicker/stronger than other shoes (the Kenneth Cole had by far the softest leather but felt very, very thin in the sole), and even now after a couple weeks when I first put them on, they feel like I'm still breaking them in (fine within a few minutes though), but I believe long term these will be the best, which is what I am going for.

The color seems to be a flatter brown that how it looks online. The elongated toe box was a bit more trendy than what I wanted.

Bought this shoe for my boyfriend for work. Looking for a staple pair of black dress shoes to fit his work outfits. He's pleased with the purchase and he's pretty picky. We've been looking for shoes for him for over 6 months and I randomly ordered these based off of other reviews and couldn't be happier. He normally wears a size 8.5-9 in shoes and I got these in a size 8.5. Fits him perfectly. The shoe is polished looking so it somewhat shines but is not tacky. (We're in our late 20's so we kind of want to keep it fly still!) The stitch quality is nice and I feel that the sole is thick enough to provide support and comfort - at least, in comparison to his other shoes. We will definitely consider this brand in the future should we need to purchase more shoes for him.

These fit a little tight when you first start wearing them but after about a week or so they loosen right up. They are comfortable and have held up well. I just bought another pair to have on hand when my original pair finally do wear out.

Very comfortable and good looking shoe. Fit seemed true to size. On my feet a lot the first day out wearing them and shoes were great. Good value / price ratio. \r\n\r\nAnother poster metioned the smell. There is a definite odor out of the box. Potent, strong whatever you want to say. The odor stayed w/me wearing them the first day off and on. I\'m sure after a few wears all will be fine. \r\n\r\nAll and all, I\'d recomend these shoes w/out hesitation.
