I absolutely loved this style of booth. It was rather narrow and thus caused my feet to get cold and squished even with a whole size larger. I have narrow feet! The kicker was that after just 1 short week of wearing it, the material ripped by the stitching and started fraying! I was glad that it could be returned a plus in shopping with Zappos.
This is the only review I have ever written on a product. I love these shoes! I have constantly cold feet and hands and these do the trick for keeping my feet warm without making them too warm. My husband is mostly warm all the time but he wears these every day. They are well worth the money.
These are very light and comfortable but, sturdy enough to go outdoors for the newspaper and warm enough for these cold winter mornings. Except for the warmth, hardly know there on. Great buy!
These boots are the most comfortable and warm things I've ever put on my feet. I don't use them for much where I live other than shoveling the occasional snow and trudging through mud, but these have been great. They size a bit large, so keep that in mind while ordering.
These boots were very impressive right out of the box. The only way your feet will be wet is if snow or water gets in the top. The only problem with them is that they are hard to tie at the top, but other than that, they are great. They do have a steel toe and are therefore heavier than your normal boot. These are very warm and well insulated.
I bought these as a replacement for a different pair that broke... These boots are great! The color we bought was hunter-black and they are not black they are more of a really dark forest green. They are really tall (they come up past his knees), roomy in the calf area and warm on the cold days. My hubs likes them because they are no fuss and they slip on and off. They are quite heavy though and are not the kind of boots you wear out and about but they do the job...
I bought these for my husband and he really likes them. He wears them all the time. I read all the reviews and sized up. He usually wears 8.5 so I ordered the XL (9-10). They just fit.
These down booties were exactly what I was looking for to wear under mukluks while at the base camp on a dog sledding trip. They were even comfortable enough to continue wearing right in my sleeping bag. I have super warm feet all night long, which is a must when winter camping!
These are great for indoors, or inside your tent! These booties are warm, light, and very comfortable. They do not have a sole designed for use outside, however. Order a full size larger than you usually would. I liked mine so much that I ordered a pair for my girl and she loves them! For the price, you can't go wrong.
These boots are AWESOME! They keep my feet toasty warm, and they are very cushioned and comfortable. Every time I put them on, I comment to my husband that it feels like my feet are being hugged by pillows. They are a little heavy (to be expected with winter boots), but they are fantastic winter boots! I highly recommend these and plan to use them for years to come. These boots are also really well made. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9, but I ordered these in a 9 so there was room for thick socks. Well, thick socks won?t be necessary in these shoes, but the 9 worked just fine.
First of all, I usually wear a size 9. I read the reviews and got a size 10. It's too big. I think that going up a half of a size would have been better. However, given the nature of the pull-straps on the ankles of these boots, they're just too floppy. So, going up a size is kind of difficult. Too big in the ankle while still fitting in the foot part, if this makes sense. Otherwise, they are very warm. I love how warm my feet stay. If it weren't for how hard it is to walk in these boots, I would definitely keep them. I just can't get into the pull straps, though. They just make for a sloppy fit. So, given the slop factor and the inability to tighten the ankle/calf part of the boot, they're just too difficult to wear.
I have bought a total of four pairs of this style slipper for my 95 year mother who has swelling in her feet and legs. The first pair I bought was the camouflage color because that was the only color available at the time. She loved them, and she wore them with all her pink frilly pajamas and nightgowns. I kept looking for a better available color for her, and next I found them in this espresso color. That was a little bit better. Finally, pink became available. I bought two pink pairs, and my mom and I are both in heaven! This is the only style she will wear. They are so comfortable and they conform to the shape of her foot. Also, I don?t have to worry about her tripping over loose slippers, because these have a heel and they stay securely on her feet.
Great pair of boots, winter, spring muck, they fit very well and have very good foot support. I?m thinking of buying them for the kids and the woman.
The Baffin Trapper boot functions perfectly in keeping me warm and dry. The specs are listed to 40 below zero, but 10 below zero is closer to the truth. These boots are very comfortable, which makes all the difference! I am a forester and this gives me lots of time in the woods during weather and ground conditions of all kinds.
I know what you're thinking... She's from Houston, TEXAS of all place what does she know about snow boots. Well, I know that my feet are not used to sloshing through deep snow and slush, which I did on our recent trip to the mountains. These boots are not only cute but my feet stayed warm and dry each time I wore them. They are also made out of good materials that will last more than ONE vacation to the mountains w/o falling apart between visits. These boots are well worth the price of admission. They are a tiny bit on the large side but if you wear thick socks it's not a problem - I don't really own thick socks but it wasn't an issue and my feet still stayed warm. These boots (like most boots) are no good for traction on ice. If you want your feet to stay warm and dry and look cute at the same time - this is your boot.
Haven?t tried in particularly cold weather - but did use on a 4-day 3-night snow camping trip in the Sierra Nevada. Worked well with Snowshoes. Night temps in the 15 range. Nice and toasty. The liners supplied with the boots make nice things to wear in a tent. Very happy with these, though they are probably overkill for my needs. They aren?t available in half sizes, but size 11 fit my 10 1/2 B size foot just fine.
Great pair of boots. Another review said they run half a size big. I usually wear 10.5 for everything, and they only had 10. I got them and they fit perfectly. They are really nicely insulated, and I can?t wait to try them out in the snow.
I went with my wife to Canada and since they were having a snow storm, these boots made my walking time so comfortable and warm that I didn?t feel like I had winter boots since they are so light. I am a Very Satisfied customer. I would give it 5 star in size, but I?m normally a 9 1/2 or 10 that I got a 10 and it felt like an 11 or 11 1/2.
Love these boots, have recently used these in blizzard like conditions and they kept my usually cold feet very warm and dry. They grip really well on ice and snow. Love the straps and buckles which give these serious snow boots a feminine touch. These are not tight at the top of the boot, but in deep snow I wore snow pants so not an issue for me. I usually size up in snow boots and ordered a 10 and these were perfect.
