My first ever product review - these boots are made for walking...the slushy, slippery, deep streets of NYC. I'm sure they'd work in the burbs too. They are so warm (even in sub zero temps), always dry, super comfy and tall enough for my 5'10" frame. They are also wide enough for my not skinny calves and I can even stuff legwarmers in there and they fit great. So easy to put on, I just step right into them, no need to do any lacing or straps or anything. Easy off too. They may be too clunky for a very petite lady but for me they are perfect! Price great too.

Truly disappointing. Thought they'd keep my feet warm, inside, with socks on and they really didn't do much. Bummer slippers!

These are great boots. Very comfortable and warm. I was looking for a mid calf warm boot to trudge thru the deeper snow. I wanted it to be easy to get in/out of and not let the deep snow in. These do just that, They are wide at the calf, so they accommodate my sizable calves plus pants/leggings/sweat pants. The foot is a bit large but that is okay. It snugs up with a thick pair of socks. I have taken my dog on hour long walks in these and I stay warm, dry and overall comfortable. My toes do get a bit smushed to the front on a long walk, but otherwise they are perfect boot.

These boots are not the best looking but they are warm and weather proof. If you have small feet, they are big and heavy. I wouldn't buy them again!

These are very warm, waterproof boots, and lightweight. I had to order the 11 for length (I'm usually a 10, but 11 in athletic shoes) which leaves me with a lot room in the volume. Both buckles are adjustable and that helped somewhat. An insole helped too. Although lightweight they are a bit bulky. There is plenty of room to tuck in pants. The opening is continuous which ensures that snow and water won't come in through the zipper. Again, makes them a little bulky but worth it. These are definitely outdoor, snow boots. Cute in their "I'm ready for snow" way. All in all I'm very happy. I shoveled snow for 45 minutes and my feet were toasty the whole time. Mission accomplished!

I have a very wide foot and it is hard to find slippers that are truly comfortable. In addition, I don't like my feet to get too hot. These "cush" slippers are perfect for me. As others have said, they are truly like a little sleeping bag for your foot. They don't put pressure on any sensitive spot, like a bunion, and they provide consistent warmth without causing my feet to sweat. I've only had a them a few weeks, so I don't know how durable they are, but the price is right and if I had to replace them after 6 months of daily wear, I'd be okay with that.

I love these boots! I have wide feet and wear orthotics and the footbed and toe box accommodate both! So the only width that is available is medium, which worked out fine. They are very comfortable and extremely warm, so if you are not out in the cold, your feet might overheat! Also like that the buckles are adjustable and they look good! I've gotten lots of compliments! Waiting for you to get more in stock so I can order a back up pair for next year!

The design of the Baffin Bobcat is a great idea. Unfortunately, it suffers from poor execution. The slip-on upper is perfect for easily sliding the boot on and off as you go back and forth between the wintry lands and the indoors for a hot chocolate, but this also means that your heel is never secure and the boot never holds close to your ankle. It makes for potential blisters and an unsnug feel. As for the boots fitting true to size. I chose to get a half size smaller than I usually wear. That was perfect for the front of the boot, which was snug and warm, but it mattered little for the rear of the boot as it clopped up and down off my heel. In other words, this is the type of boot that tends to be too large in the back even if it is just right in the front.

This formerly frozen-footed soul is now cozy and warm! Before I ordered these, even doubling up on fleece socks wasn't enough to keep my feet from turning to icicles. These are just what I needed - they keep my feet toasty, the bottom is non-skid and I look like a moon walker. I am normally an 8 or 8.5 and the medium fits well.

I love these slippers. I usually can not wear slippers because i have anarrow heal and they come off my feet. These have a toggle to tighten them. They lok like sleeping bags for your feet, but I don't care. They are for indoors only. They definitely meet my needs.

I bought these Shackleford's about a year ago. I wait to write a review because there isn't much to be said before you get them broke in and put thru a time period. I'm happy to report that these boots truly impress me. I live in Michigan and we know winters, my feet have not been cold once, and I always team them up with a thick pair of socks for added comfort and warmth. I'd suggest ordering a size up if you do the same, otherwise a half should be spot on. Quality-wise, no problems. I use them for work, and recently took them to the Sault 500 Snowmobile races in the U.P. Michigan, a weekend to challenge them. Extremely cold sub zero days and nights, but my feet were fine. Nuff said, it's a good choice.

Purchased this right before the historic snow, ice and cold weather we've had here in Boston (90 inches of snow in a month!) and these boots really saved me. They're so incredibly warm, waterproof (through large piles of snow) and get great traction even on ice and slush. They have the added bonus of being stylish enough to earn compliments as well!

So far, so good. Got these at Christmas for my husband's frozen toes. He loves them and says he's never had warmer feet. The booties are holding up. Last year I bought a pair in the upgrade model and they started ripping out after a day or two. So back they went. But these are doing fine, and he's careful not to pull them by the top casing for the drawstring, as that appears to have been the weak point in earlier incarnations of this slipper. Now he's telling me to get a pair for my cold toes!

These are very cute, however, the shoe insert causes them to be too small. I am a 7½ and I ordered an 8 and my toes butted up against edge of insert. I am sending them back. I was hoping to find some cute boots for my upcoming ski trip. I think the entire brand will fit the way that I described.

Very comfortable and cozy and warm but mine tore in the first week of wearing them. I liked them enough to keep wearing them but the anti-slip grips on the bottom wore down in another few weeks. Not durable, lasted about 1 month.

First, I typically wear a size 14 and often in a wide size. The size 14's were perfect and there is ample room in the toe box. Would highly recommend them.

I ordered this item for myself at the beginning of winter season here in Michigan. After wearing these slippers all winter I am giving them five stars. They are easy to slip on and off (I ordered a large so that they would fit with my thick wool socks and they do. My shoe size is about an 8½). They keep my feet warm (although I do wear wool socks) and I love the look! The only improvement I would suggest is to make the tread on the bottom more durable as that wears off pretty quickly. Still I have pergo flooring and I have not slipped yet but I do have to be mindful. Oh and I have two golden retrievers and no dog hair sticks to these slippers so that is a plus!

I bought these for my boyfriend who had finally worn out his 20 year old duck boots. He normally wears an 11.5-12 so we bought the 12's. He was initially worried they were too small and he wouldn't be able to wear his thick wool socks with them; however, he soon learned there was no need. Wearing only normal athletic socks he had waded around in 3 feet of snow for over 2 hours and exclaimed, "my feet are nice and toasty dry!" They are well worth the money.

I spend a lot of my free time hiking and photographing in places that must not only keep my feet dry, but also must withstand the rigors of bushwhacking through dense tangles of all sorts of under stories, including lots of thorny vines. I climb over and under fallen trees, wade through creeks bottomed with slippery stones and rocks, tromp through sand, gravel mud, wet and slippery clay deposits, snow and ice and just about every kind of surface you'd find out there in nature. For more than 20 years of this kind of use, I have been wearing a pair of Baffin rubber boots. They are still good, but are showing signs of wear and I suspect they will spring a few leaks sometime soon. Unfortunately, Baffin no longer makes the boots I bought 20 + years ago, so I purchased these with the hope that they would do as well. I gave my new Baffins a good work out over the past few days and I am happy to report that, so far, they are not only as good, but better in at least 2 ways: 1: The neoprene uppers are more comfortable and allow me to tuck in my pants more easily. 2: the lugs on the bottom do not collect and hold nearly as much mud and debris...and what little they do collect can be cleaned off very easily. This alone makes them great for me. The Baffin Meltwater are very well built; sturdy, waterproof and comfortable. Easy to put on and take off too. Keepers for sure! Will they last 20 years like my old ones? Can't say for sure yet, but I have a feeling they will.

Like another Baffin snowboot I tried, these were a full size smaller and impossible for me to put on with even a silk liner sock.

I ordered a full size larger than what I normally wear in athletic wear, and half a size larger than eccos waterproof footwear I have worn for 17 years. These were much too small. Having not worn snow or warm weather boots since departing Seattle in 2000 I expected following other reviewers advice and selecting a larger size would work. Even with just silk liners there was no way to put these boots on my feet.
