These slippers don\'t have enough padding on the bottom to be truly comfortable. Also, they require the wearer to adjust the band that tightens the top every time you put them on. I\'d prefer some type of elastic that adjusts to your foot without the constant tinkering.

As others have said, this product runs a full size smaller than the sizing specified, so order larger. Once I got the right size (XXL for a woman's size 11 foot), I ordered two more pairs. The slippers keep my feet warm, they are comfortable, and the bottom surface gives me good traction on my wooden basement stairs. I practically live in them whenever I'm staying home. I highly recommend them!

I recently purchased a pair of the Baffin Cush and have been very impressed with them. They are extremely light weight, very comfortable, and most important of all nice and toasty warm. I most highly recommend this product.

I love these. At first I didn't because they aren't very soft inside (I'm used to Uggs), but after wearing the first cold rainy day inside I was in love. They keep your feet toasty are cute and don't make your feet sweat. I did order a size larger. I'm a 6 or 6.5 but I ordered a 7 because reviews mentioned these. I was glad I did. They run very small.

Zappos is so fast on delivery, I can't believe it! I tried several different pairs of Ugg boots along with this one. Friends told me I would be sold on Ugg. Surprisingly, I found this one by Baffin to be the most comfortable, soft, adjustable boot of the whole bunch. I can't wait for the cold/snow to come so I can wear these all the time! I highly recommend this boot for winter.

Love 'em to death. If my feet are cold, my whole body feels so too, but since buying these I'm nice and toasty all over. I did venture outside just to take out the trash and found them not to be waterproof, but that's not really an issue. Purchase and enjoy!

I love my Baffin cush booty!! It is all that was advertised and more. As other reviewers have noted, it is best to go a size or two higher than you ordinarily wear. I went for the XXL and they are perfect. Go, Zappos!!

I love these shoes! They are warm but not so warm that your feet start sweating like a pair of down booties did to me. The sole grips most surfaces so you don't feel like your feet are going to slip out from under you, again like the down boots. Lastly they have some insulating material at the bottom of the bootie which works on all services expect a cold stone/tile floor. They say you can wash them, haven't tried, but if it's true they are 5s in everything but looks.

My son absolutley loves these shoes! They are so cozy and warm, yet they are cool enough for an 11 year old. They run about a size small, so I ordered the next larger size for him.

Great boots! Very easy to get on and off, and I can even tuck pants into them, which is no small feat when you have muscular calves. I usually go between and 9.5 and a 10, so I opted for the 10 in these, and although they are a little roomy I\'ll just wear them with nice thick socks. These are big boots, so if you care about your feet looking svelte, these aren\'t for you. If you want something to trudge around in snow and keep warm, they\'re great. :)

Nice shoe, but too big. Wear a size 11, so bought a size 11. Easy to put on, but was too big by about half a size.

I ordered these boots because my serious cold weather pair died last year. I've had to send the Kamalas back for a couple of reasons. But first, my overall observations: They are very cute; especially with pants, which I didn't find hard to tuck in on account of the clever cross-lace closure. Cute is not elegant. So if you're looking for elegant, don't order these. Elegant rated to -20 does not exist in the world anyway, so I'd recommend deciding on your real needs before choosing your style. These are the perfect boots for those who have to be out and about in populated areas, who perhaps spend a little more time driving than walking. Perfect for civilized walking in extreme weather. Across large parking lots. To the grocery store or library & back, and probably in general. They are quite walkable. I wouldn't call them 'fragile', but I wouldn't call them 'rugged', either. There is no metal on them anywhere, and the soles are nice and thick (imperative for really cold weather), but still quite flexible. Why I returned them: Upon reflection, I need something more serious for being out over longer periods in a grimy cold urban environment; or in the middle of nowhere. If the car breaks down in February in northern Wisconsin, the Kamalas might be okay, but also might not. I also slog through a lot of slush and slop on my walk to & from my job (icy water when it's -20? Yeah it happens), so I figured out that I need a rubber-like upper. The Kamalas are described as 'waterproof', which I believe; but they are rather pretty suede, and my life calls for something more like 'immersible'. It was a tough decision, though. I kept the Kamalas and 'circled' them for a couple of weeks, thinking about it. They really are cute.

Super comfy! I went with the size larger in light of the reviews and almost wish I'd gone 2 sizes larger (wear a women's 10, got the XL). Very comfortable and warm. All the padding is towards the middle, so a little awkward to walk on with wide feet, but I'm sure it will flatten and disperse over time. Great buy for the price!

These slippers look and feel comfy, but they are 1 full size smaller (I am a size 8 and had to return mine and order a size 9-10) and what is not very nice is they are cold. If my feet are cold they remain cold, and if they are warm they get cold after a while of wearing these. A shame because they are very comfortable. Maybe trying with more/different socks. I wouldn't recommend them because the only thing you want in winter is having your feet warm. My feet are freezing right now.

Bought these boots last spring to use on the farm and my son wore them a couple times and the rubber split on the side.

The ice and snow haven\'t hit us yet, but as the mother of an active three year-old who is learning to ski, I needed a decent looking, extremely practical snow boot that is easy to get in and out of FAST. I think I am now well prepared to chase my son through our neighborhood and at the ski area. These boots are surprisingly lightweight, warm, very comfortable, and extremely easy to get in and out of thanks to the toggle and cord lock. Since they are also both waterproof and taller than many other snow boots out there, these boots should prove to be useful in every way. It is surprising that they are not available in stores around here.

I liked this boot, and did not find the pair I tried at all too short in length (I sized up because of a review, and found they were too long and a bit wide). I wonder if others who tried Baffin Sage and found it a full size small were unable to remove the last bit of heavy packing paper that was jammed into the boots' toes, a tiny bit that was quite difficult to extract from the boot? Anyway, for people who want to wear a warm winter sock, the extra width might be helpful. I had to return them only because I have sensitive ankles, and the rigid, though well-padded, collar on these 'bit' into my ankle tops.

This is the best slipper ever! I have had these since March, I wear them every single night. They are the warmest most comfortable slippers. I have washed them twice and they are still in good shape. Order a size larger than you wear. These are so great!

Well, first...I ordered these last night at about 5:00 P.M. Westcoast time, and they showed up at 10:00 A.M. the next morning. Now how in the He** is that even physically possible???? They came across the COUNTRY then next morning after being ordered at 8:00 P.M. East Coast time! Now, about the boots: I ordered the biggest size they had which was a 14. I wear a 16 and sometimes a 15, so I took the chance based on the reviews of others stating that they run large. They fit great, a -hair- tight, but that\'s my issue for having big feet. They are strong looking and fairly stylish for a guy\'s boot. If I had it to do over, I would order the non steel toe version, though. The steel toe, I believe, is what is making it a bit heavy. My main purpose for these rubber boots is to use them on rainy days to walk to work and home. I think they will be fine...

One of my simple pleasures is keeping my feet toasty in cold weather, and these are definitly the right boots for the job. They're really cute and comfortable. I wear a 7.5 and got these in a size 8 and they are a little big, but it's nothing that thick socks or a shoe insert can't rectify. So, yes it fits true to size. Overall, I'm quite pleased. Thanks Zappos.

I bought the Baffin Cush for my daughter-in-law as a gift. She is an avid hunter. I have a pair of Baffin boots that I have worn for several years in cold weather. They are the most comfortable boots that I have ever worn & my feet don't get cold when walking in the snow when I visit up north.

I ordered these boots for general light use around the house. Ordinarily, I wear size 10 1/2 so I ordered up to the next size of 11. I’ve also owned other Bafin boots that were size 11 so I figured that it should be OK, but they were way too big (even with thick socks). So I called customer service and they overnighted me a pair of size 10 which fit perfectly. They even sent a paid return UPS slip for whatever pair that I decided to return. I like the boots, but I love their customer service.

Ok, I read all the other reviews and thought they couldn't be that great. But I've had them about 2 weeks now, and yeah, they are that great! They are super comfortable and look great. The pictures don't do them justice, they're much better looking in person. These shoes got broken in quicker than any other shoes I've ever had. They're warm, but not too hot, even in NC. The aggressive tread makes sure you don't slip. They're so easy to get on and off, they're great for when you have to run out of the house in a hurry. Overall, these are a great pair of shoes and worth the buy.

I LOVE these! Wanted a slipper that wasn't as 'structured' feeling as a shoe and I love these! Some slippers left my feet feeling cold and some made my feet sweat - these are perfect! Yes, they're ugly, but such is life ~ not like I'm going out shopping in these. I typically wear a size 9.5 or 10 in ladies and I ordered the XXL after reading the reviews because I was concerned over the size issue. Everyone said they run a full size small and they certainly do. I do like roomy slippers which these are. If you like them to fit more 'fitted' stick with the size up advice and if you want them looser like I did I'd go for 2 sizes. LOVE THESE SLIPPERS!

About Baffin

Baffin Baffin is focused on becoming the undisputed global leader in performance footwear, providing quality, comfort, aesthetics and value through the technical innovation, with a focus on creating the ultimate boot for extreme conditions. Polar explorers have come to appreciate the unique qualities of Baffin boots. Doug Stoup, a celebrated polar adventurer, used Baffin boots to travel over 1,000 kilometers across the Antarctic. In 2006 at least three separate international expeditions chose Baffin boots to get to the North Pole, including, of course, Baffin's own polar trekking team.

When polar explorers trek to the North or the South Pole they subject their footwear to the most demanding conditions imaginable. Day after day they exert themselves to the point of exhaustion, pulling their equipment over the rough and unrelenting terrain. They lose as much as one pound of bodyweight each day in perspiration and burned calories. At night they sleep in small tents where the temperature can drop as low as -60°C (-76°F), freezing their boots. Cold feet and blisters, that might not be given a second thought in other situations, can be fatal in this environment.

While traditional molded boots are suitable for some conditions they are not ideal for cold temperatures. In the early 90s Baffin realized that if they combined their leading molding technology with a foam-based inner boot system, they could create a new hybrid style of high performance footwear. Since then Baffin has developed new materials and combined them in new innovative combinations. A good example is the unrivalled 8-layer combination of materials that are used in the boots that are rated for -100ºC (-148ºF).

Over the years Baffin has created a line of industry-leading footwear that performs in extreme conditions for an ever-growing list of loyal users and activities, including snowmobiling, ice-fishing, hunting, mushing and working in industries like construction, oil, mining, forestry, and outdoor winter recreation. Because of this, Baffin has become the leader in footwear for all your cold weather needs.
