I bought these for my boyfriend because he was always wearing my pair! They are very warm and cozy for around the house in winter. I also took these trekking in the Everest region in Nepal for wearing in the teahouses in the evening and was the envy of all other trekkers. It felt great to get out of my hiking boots and relax in these booties.

The boots run true to size. If you wear a half size they may not fit very well. That was my experience. I regretted having to return them. They seem to be well made, look good, green is a nice dark color. And they are roomy in the calf. I preferred these to Bogs.

Polar Proven? These cannot stand up to a North Carolina winter! I though that I had found the perfect shoes. Sadly, I was disappointed. I purchased these to wear on the (very few) cold rainy or snowy days we have where I live. They are a loose/slightly large fit. As others have noted, the footbed does have a tendency to come loose and slide around - but I did not find that too troubling. They have some support - but I would not say that they have good arch support. I usually wear minimal shoes, and found these to be comfortable if extremely heavy (if you have knees that are sensitive to heavy shoes - these are not your best option). Most recently, I wore them on a snowy walk. After about 1½ seasons of use (and not that many days at that - likely less than 45 days total wear), they are cracking. This is not the durability that I expected from this company. Especially for the price, I am very disappointed.

I purchased these to wear as slippers around the house in the winter to keep my feet warm. They are doing a great job of that! But after about a week the non-slip sole is gone. The only problem so far is that the non-slip soles do not last very long at all.

'Bought these for my 16 year old son. Size 12. He said they run small, so he went up a size. These boots are heavy duty in construction and weight. These are not for the casual snow flurry--they are more suitable for the tundra!

Definitely warm! And the other reviewers are right, order a size up. You're not winning a fashion contest in these (although they're pretty basic, and probably about the least clunky they could be given all the materials), but they are warm and surprisingly lightweight too.

I measured my foot using the size chart. I have an 8.5 foot so I ordered a size 9 medium in charcoal. That was a half size larger than I measured but I figured it would be plenty for socks. The insulating insert made them too tight around my toes and over my instep for anything other than none or very thin socks. I returned them (Zappos customer service is GREAT) and got a size 10. They still feel a little tight over my instep because of the insert, but I will be able to wear some socks. The boots pictured show a toggle on the end of the ties but the boots came with plain laces. I called Zappos and was instructed to call Baffin and ask for some toggles and to call back if Baffin could not help.. I called Baffin and they are sending toggles. According to Baffin, the laces have changed from the picture Zappos has. These boots, while expensive, are just what I wanted. I wasn't interested in high style, but they look nice and will be easy to put on and take off, warm and extremely functional for shoveling the driveway and getting out and about.

I absolutely love these boots, but do read on, because there are some things to note. These boots are the most comfortable boot, ever. I have taken to wearing them around my house as slippers! They are made of material that I thought would let the snow in, but no way--they are completely snow-tight. I have worn them out playing in the snow for hours, and no wetness or cold. However, one caveat. These are loose around the ankles--the drawstring in the ankle area is too low to really help to hold this boot on your foot. So, in shallow snow and all general daily wear, they stay on fine. But when the snow was a bit deeper (2 ft), and your foot gets stuck in the snow, your foot will want to just slide out of the boot. I love them and recommend them, they just aren't for seriously snow hiking.

These run closer to two sizes small and narrow. I love the large pull tabs on the liner- super design. These boots are sturdy, comfortable and warm. I ended up wanting a taller boot for snow play and tubing but I classify these more for hiking/snowshoeing or cold weather wear.

I loved the Snogoose boot. It is the more dainty sister to the Icefield. It still has the polar tested rubber sole and super padding but not as bulky and intense as the Icefield. I would say it's a good two sizes smaller than marked. I'm an 8, sized up to a 9 for sock-room but it's still tight across the toes. Ordering a 10 just seems vulgar to me but I really want these to work.

I have narrow to normal feet but with ski socks these boots (and all 7 Baffin boots that I tried) were small. I also have poor circulation so the combined narrowness of the boot and the more narrowing from the excellent padding made these a no go. I loved all the features especially the Polar tested rubber soles, I only wish that I were a more hearty creature so I could have benefited from these boots.

I have only worn them a couple of times but they are very comfortable and warm. I had to go a size bigger based on the length of the shoe. I do not have to unzip them the majority of the time. I can fit some hefty pants into them. Having to go up a size for the length the rest of the boot is a little loose but not to a fault.

Love them!!!!!! They are warm and comfy. Just had 2 feet of snow and blew snow for three hours with these boots. Easy to put on and they keep your feet dry.

Exactly what I was looking for. Fit fine. Warm but not too hot on cold days.

Taller in front, too tall for shorter women. Also, calf is very wide. Not good for petite women. But the arch support is good. Will return for another item.

Ordered two different boots for my teen son. He tried these on and walked around the house in them all day. He thought these were the most stylish and comfortable. Hasn't worn them outdoors a great deal, but it does look leak-proof and well-made.

My wife loves the Baffin Base Camp foot ware. She wares them in the house everyday and says they are warm and comfortable. The strap at the ankle helps keep the bootie stable. These are the best booties I came across when searching.

I just bought these boots and we have had nothing but rain and mild weather. I like the style and there are very comfortable.

They are so warm and soft and comfortable. I am going to buy another pair. This time I am going to buy my true size, though. I bought one up on the suggestions from others but feel they are too sloppy on my feet. Still, I love them.

Very lightweight but very warm boot. Have to agree with other reviews that the heel space is too large which causes some slipping. Good for smaller snow levels but if you are trudging in deep snow it would be a problem. Shoveled for quite a while with no seepage so I do believe they are waterproof. Would probably buy again.
