Baffin Reviews
Love them! I live in backless shoes and could never find ones warm enough for winter until these came along. I'm a true 7 and these fit perfectly from the start; no break in needed. They look great with jeans and are my go-to winter shoe this year.
Finally, boots that fit well and feel secure to walk in slippery conditions.
These were a Christmas Gift. My woman loves them. They are warm, comfortable and she said she would not wear boots to work because she was embarassd and now she wears them everday to work. They are stylish for the quality of the product.
These are the best! We have cold floors as are apartment is directly above a garage area, and are feet always get so cold. Not now!
The booties were a gift for my wife with cold feet. She loves them. I had to exchange for the right size and Zappos came through with flying colors!
I am 5'7". I have fairly slim calves, high arches, and slightly wide feet but not wide enough to wear a wide. My shoe size is usually a 7½ but I bought an 8 to be able to wear socks and slip in pants. These boots fit my feet well but were loose at the heel. They were also very loose around the calf despite being able to tie them tighter. Tying them tighter made them look funny. Overall I did not find them comfortable and my foot and leg size not compatible. They may work great for someone else.
This is a very solid, nice boot; however, so very narrow across toes, even in 2 sizes over what I usually wear, and then of course, the heels slip. I had to send it back. If they could just make it more balance in box width and heel.
I love these boots... I looked at many boots, and decided to go with these and I'm glad I did! I live in Minnesota, so the temps do get below zero, these boots do keep my feet very warm. Great on the ice too. Only complaint I have is they do run a little small. I usually wear an 8 and had to return for a size 9.
I have had a pair of these for three years. the first time I bought these was to work with the pipeline while it was going through northern minnesota. Some days it was -50 F. and through it all my feet stayed warm.
I was thrilled to find this boot that paired style and warmth for Wisconsin winters, but these aren't for me as it turns out. I normally can't get my muscular calves into any normal boot that doesn't allow me to lace up, but these were huge, mostly because the tongue has a weird gap and the bungee laces don't allow adjustment to get a snug fit. Not good in snowy conditions when where it will fly right down the shaft of your boots. Also these ran small. I'm typically a spot on 11 and that's what I ordered and my toes were right to the tip leaving no room for thick socks. Great boot if you've got the leg to fill it out, not so much otherwise.
The best and ugliest slippers I have ever owned. Hands down. They are wonderful slippers despite their appearance. Does a woman work at Baffin? Clearly not based on the color selection. My husband got these for me for Christmas (at my request -- because I probably would have cried if he picked these out without me knowing what they were about). I love them. They are a custom fit because of the draw string mechanism. They're not bulky (so no tripping hazard). They have a non-skid bottom (the non-skid sole makes a suction/sticky sound for the first couple weeks but that goes away). I have wood floors throughout 85% of my 3000+ sq foot home so my feet get cold in Ohio winters. These keep my feet so comfortable! I don't think I'll ever own another kind of slipper.
I didn't end up choosing this shoe, because the wrap-around cording didn't really do much. I couldn't get it to actually tighten around my leg (at least not easily and quickly) and the front bit was annoyingly floppy when I walked. The shoe itself was very comfortable and seems like it would be nice and warm. I only walked around the house a bit, but my high arches felt fine.
These are very warm and I'm happy so far (had them a few weeks). I also have a pair from EMS, and these are superior because the inner sole is soft and insulated. These fit a little more snug across the top of the foot. I usually wear a men's 9 and was afraid the XL would be too big, but it fits well. They're a little bulkier in appearance than the EMS ones, but they're house shoes, so who cares?
This is the second winter I have worn my Baffins, purchased specifically for a trip to snowy Europe. They are totally chic, I mean they look like a dressy boot, but provide all the luxuries of an insulated insulated snow boot. They're extremely comfortable for long walks, warm and will keep your feet dry. Received tons of compliments on these.
