I wear between an 8.5 & a 9.5 depending on the shoe, so I ordered an 8.5 and a 10 (because they were out of sizes 9 & 9.5). The reviewer that said the shoe runs small was correct. The 10 may have fit if it wasn't so wide on my foot. I think a 9.5 may have been perfect. Also, I measured the heel at 5". If you're willing to sacrifice pain for beauty, then they may work for you. I've worn 5" heels before with no problem, but these were difficult to walk in. I wanted them to wear to a wedding, but I can't imagine walking in them, much less dancing! Sent both pair back and continued my search for a beautiful pewter shoe.
