I have super thick, naturally wavy hair and this iron works quickly on damp or dry hair. The on button is located on the side and I have unknowingly hit it while straightening my hair - and did not realize it until a few minutes later. Also, my hair sometimes gets caught on the edge of the iron - not a dealbreaker, but slightly bothersome.

This is the second one I've had that I've used once and it broke. Do not buy this product!

I love this combination of styling tools. Both items are great. The dryer and the flat iron are just like salon quality in my opinion. I've purchased several hair iron and blow dryers in the past several years, but these two by far are the best I have ever purchased.

I am a hair stylist and use this on every texture hair every day and let me tell you it rocks! It blows the chi out of the water. You can adjust the temperature up and down (up to almost 500m by the way!) which is a big advantage and it is not bulky. Plus the extra long plates mean you get more hair in each pass making my life a lot faster! Love.

Love this dryer! Perfect for use at home & travel. Gentle on the hair.

Tiny but mighty. While this dryer does not sport the same horsepower as my regular Babyliss, it definitely does a good and speedy job. Perfect for short trips (really small and super light). While it is dual voltage (one of the main reasons for my purchase), I am not sure how well it would fare on the 220 setting.

Uhhh, "heat-resistant? Not bloody likely. I have never had a hair dryer get so hot! Not only did the concentrator get so hot that I was afraid it would burn my hair and/or my styling brush, but I noticed the prongs of the plug were super hot when I pulled it out of the wall to put away! It is ridiculous for a dryer this expensive to have such a blatant and dangerous design flaw. At first I thought maybe I just got a lemon, but after discovering this problem, I also looked around the web and found some other reviewers who said similar things. Don't buy this dryer.

Works awesome. So little and light. I have had surgery on my neck so wielding a blow dryer can be difficult. This makes it a snap!

Upon suggestion by my stylist, I was on the lookout for a Babyliss blow dryer, and stumbled onto this set with the flat iron. I'm happy with my purchase! I have thin, fine hair, and this hair dryer was great for me. If i had thicker hair, I would probably have some complaints about it's power. The flat iron is wonderful as well, it makes my hair feel silky and doesn't grab hairs and yank them out. I've had a lot of flat irons in my day, including Chi and Royale, and this one beats them both.

Love this hairdryer. It makes my hair shiny, dries it fast and is light weight. It's also cute in red! I may start using it all the time instead of my heavier dryer. And, I travel a lot, so having a small dryer with dual voltage is a must.

This flat iron is tiny. It is smaller than a television remote. It is good for super short hair or bangs but not for a whole head of hair. It gets hot and I mean 430 degrees with no temperature control knob. Also the outside of the plates get hot so you have to keep your fingers on the grey rubber pads to keep from burning yourself. It is OK but I still think you can get one just as good and for less at Target or Sally's Beauty.

I've been a professional stylist for 35 years and this is hands down the best hair dryer I've ever used. Lightweight and plenty of power. Lots of adjustment, you don't have to give up blowing power to turn down the heat. You can choose any combination of settings; low/cool through high/hot. Well worth the price, plus it comes with a 5 year warranty!

This is an absolutely amazing Wet to Dry Flat Iron! I have tried quite a few and this is the best! Right after you shower you just put a little product in your hair and while it is still wet you can dry it extremely easily and QUICKLY into silky, soft, and smooth perfection! The plates are very long so you can take very large sections of hair and you just need to go over it ONE TIME before it is perfectly dry, smooth, and straight, and the shine! Wow! It is just amazing what this iron can do! I have never in my life straightened & dried my naturally very curly hair so quickly with either a flat iron, or hair dryer and was left with such gorgeous, silky & shiny straight hair! It literally cuts 30 mins. off the time it took me to do my hair with other Wet to Dry Flat irons I have tried. Simply the best that I have tried! If you have never tried a Wet to Dry flat iron, this is the one to try for shiny, silky smooth hair! It is much better for your hair since it cuts out the entire step of blow drying your hair! I HIGHLY recommend Babyliss Pro Wet to Dry Flat Iron!
