This is my third pair of Newtons, was surprised at how snug the Distsnce V are. But as always they are comfortable and light.

In the past, I purchased Newton "Gravity IV" in a women's size 10.5 This "Aha II NYC 16" fit the same as my Gravity's. Nice neutral shoe with a roomy toe box for my "D" width feet. Very happy with this purchase!

I'm on my 10th(ish) pair of Newton Gravity, going from version IV, V, and this pair of VI. I run about 35-40 miles per week and this is the first pair that fit differently from the rest. I would rate all other pairs a 5. The tongue is thicker and much stiffer than the other versions, making it push into my ankle and hurts. I ended up running about 3-4 miles in them to see if it would loosen, but no luck. I love Newton's, but don't recommend these. Customer service, on the other hand - 5 star.

This is my fifth pair of Newtons and I have to say that my body feels so much better running and dancing in them. They support is great. This shoe is great, but runs about 1/2 to 1 full size smaller than any of my other Newtons.

is a beautiful sneaker i loved it first time, light soft, sleek, but it has the shoe string hole broken! i was sent a defective pair of sneakers...that is an outrage for all the money i paid !! very disappointed ..and is so visible that it was a returned pair from someone else, i was sent, i can even think about to keep them...because i really liked them, I'm brokenhearted

First time I've tried Newton. Really well made running shoe, but the padding under the ball of the foot is too high for me - causes cramps in my arches. Probably work well for most.

Good shoe!! Fits a little narrow, I prefer that though. Defiantly will help you hone in on your running form. I used these to replace my 3 pairs of brooks pure connect 3s. Overall a good quick and light shoe!

These are some of the cutest running shoes I own. I usually were an 8 1/2 in running shoes; however I had to get a size 9 in this shoe. I've only done a couple runs with them, but I seem to have plenty of room in toe box and the overall feel of the shoe is good.

These are very comfortable shoes. I use them as every day and running shoes. They work very well for running and are still comfortable after a full day of wearing them.

These were recommended by a physical therapist friend of mine. I was a little apprehensive about the price but went for it and have to admit these shoes have surprised me. When I first put them on my left Sacroiliac pain moved across my entire back as more of a workout pain. Then as I adjusted to the shoes my back pain went away. The metatarsal bar across the bottom of the shoe shifts the weight into the fforefoot and allows the spring ligament to take the shock out of the back. When I don't have them on my SI pain comes back. When they are on there is no pain. Each day I wear them and take them off the intensity drops as my joint seems to be healing. I am a PT myself and am impressed by these shoes

I've had 7 ankle surgeries and still suffer from ankle pain as well as plantar fasciitis. However, these shoes are lightweight and comfortable with a low line on the ankle and great support. These shoes have really helped me get back into running and other physical activities at the gym and I absolutely love them. I'm normally a 12 and purchased size 12 and couldn't be happier. The "lungs" on the bottom of the shoe take a little time to get used to but now I love them. They're also much less cushy than the Asics I migrated from.

I have worn Newtons for years. I have always worn an 8 but in this model it was way too small. Partially I think the toe box is much narrower than any of my other Newtons. I just exchanged them for an 8.5. I am hoping that they work out better.

Super fast running shoes. If you're into running these are a must try! I usually run 20-25 miles a week and currently training about Los Angeles Marathon. My previous shoe was a max cushioning one and I was feeling a lot of pain around my shins and knees. The pain was gone as soon as I switched.

Great shoe, great support during run and walk. I am new to Fates, but I think this might be my new favorite running shoe! Had to order half size bigger since they run a bit small. Thank you!

These run very small. This is my 4th pair of Newton Kismets. My first pair was an 8.5. My 2nd and 3rd pairs were 9's. This new model runs even smaller. I think I need a 10 to have more room, which is crazy. I do not care for model update. disappointed.

These are running smaller comparing to my newton running gravity. Will have to try half size bigger and see if it does the trick! Thank you zappos!

I've been wearing the Distance Elite for about 5 years and purchased about 6 pairs when they were in the pink color since I was afraid of how each new style would fit...as the last few styles didn't work so well. Well this style fits just as awesome! I run without socks and these are perfect since they have the same mesh as the older version. The size seems to be about a half size larger. I always wore a 9 for running but this new version I went down to an 8.5. Wish there were more colors choices though. I run every distance up through Ironman and these have been great.

I normally wear an 11 in Brooks Addiction, 11.5 in these. I'm an ultramarathoner and love these shoes. Just did a 35-mile training run yesterday, did a 25-mile in them a couple days ago, and they're great. They tilt me forward, off my heels, just a little, which I like. And the lugs under the forefoot really do make my stride feel a little bouncier, also good. The shorter drop has not been a problem for me to adjust to. I recommend trying these. I tested them at a local tri store before buying online.
