I love these sneakers for overall training at the gym, weightlifting, treadmill, orbital, crossfit, etc. The perfect lightweight minimal shoe without excessive padding and have good stability. I used to use these way back in the 80's in college for sprinting and long jumps along with Adidas Country (another classic but sadly not made anymore) and Onitsuka Serranos and these three sneakers are very similar in design and feel for those that are familiar with classic sneakers of the past. Very glad to have found these again. They do run small and they don't come in half sizes so I would recommended going up to your next size and when you do that the normal width is perfect for those that wear E or EE like myself. They have enough give in them that they will form to your foot. The sole may not be to everyone's liking because they do have a low profile unlike a lot of newer more fashionable brands today but I'm an old fashioned guy.

Comfortable, stylish and well-made. Would buy again. I typical wear an 8 in shoes, sometimes (8.5 for Prada and shoes more narrowly made). In my Asics I wear 8.5 but these were perfect as an 8. True to size.

These shoes feel very comfortable. They fit my feet both in length and width just right. There are only a couple of downsides. One is that they aren't very insulated for colder weather. The other thing is that the heals tend to squeak while walking, but that will probably go away as you break them in. Overall they are comfy and stylish casual shoes.

Problem with these shoes is the slippage. They look great, they mostly feel fine, decent support, but the insole slides, even if it's an insert. I won't be buying another pair.

Cute shoes, but they run too small for comfort... Also I don't know why the price went up over the few days that it took them to arrive. Wish they came in half sizes.

Bought these for my fiancé as a Christmas gift and he loves them! He says they are extremely comfortable, like walking on new padded carpet. He didn't want to take them off. They look good on him. I'm lucky to have got the black with gum soles before they sold out. He usually wears a size 9 or 9.5 and I purchased the size 10. Fits perfectly!

this is a very wide shoe and seems to be a 1/2 size too big. VERY comfy though. meant for cuteness, not sport

Very sharp shoes! I have the grey/white/burgandy and love them. They do run small, I'm usually size 11 and went with the 12 and they fit great. Thank you Zappos!

Never had this brand before but really liked the look of the shoe so I tried them out. Very happy with this purchase. The shoes are very comfortable, lightweight and look outstanding. I saw some complaints about the size but I wear a 13 with a wide food and I've had no problems with these at all. Very similar feel to the Onitsuka Tigers, which are another of my favorite brand of shoes. Stylish and comfort combined.

Just received these and they look great! Comfort wise they are a little lacking. The soles feel really thin, so I don't think they'd be too comfortable walking for miles, definitely not a running shoe. Others mentioned they run big, but I didn't find that to be the case. I wouldn't pay full price for these, but if you get them on sale, they are a good looking shoe.

Excellent fashion sneaker: well structured for wandering about and super cute with just a bit of flare - love how the rose gold peaks out. Add arch support and your ready to go. Note that the size 10 also works well if you are almost a 10.5.

Great shoe. I can't stop wearing them. Love the ivory color and shape of the shoe.

Ovearll 4/5 stars because I'm picky and hard to please. It's a good shoe and seems well built. The suede is nice and feels great. It's a bit more slate/blue-ish gray than the pictures make it seem (graphite/white model). I'm a US size 11. Based on the other reviews, I got the size 12. It's a bit too roomy in the toe area but manageable. I wish they had half sizes, a 11.5 would have been perfect for me. Nevertheless, it still fits well around the ankle where it matters. Would have liked a bit more cushion and more arch support.

Ive owed a few Golas before and this were disappointing, love the style though. The tongue is too short, the foot bed and with a shallow foot bed and tall heal this made for an uncomfortable ankle breaker.

Gola shoes always seem to run a bit small and narrow for me. Order a half-size larger if possible.

Gola shoes are a speck on your style, so sleek with such an 80s vintage verve. However, these, are not very comfortable, and they crease when tightened. And, the very worst characteristic of these sadly funky looking shoe, the removable insole slips around, making walking, jogging, even standing a turned-ankle waiting to happen. I removed the insole and replaced them with customed soles, and they still slip around. Can't send them back because I used my return this year already. I will most likely be selling them to thrift to get something like a tshirt I will never wear in public. Oh well.

Stylish and comfy. I normally have to go up in size a bit for shoes to fit my little toe and this one was no different.

First pair of Gola I have purchased and I must say I like them. They fit/feel/look a lot like the Puma Whirldwind. Several reviews say they run small but I did not find that to be the case.

My trusty Chucks recently wore out, and now that I'm solidly in my thirties, I: A) Didn't want to be the creepy almost-middle aged guy in Converse B) Wanted a comfortable sneaker, but still looked good. I've came across the Gola Comets, and based on my previous experience with the brand, thought I'd give them a shot. Two weeks in and I'm really happy with them. I wanted a basic canvas sneaker that fit well, and these have delivered. I was a little concerned they'd be a little tight, but are exactly true to size. If you're also looking for a basic canvas sneaker with an old school flare (and an alternative to Chuck Taylors), you really can't go wrong.

Nice looking shoe but the toe box is tiny. I usually wear a 10-10.5, but ended up keeping the size 12 for this shoe.. The 11 fit well for most of the foot but the toes felt crammed.
