My husband LOVES these shoes. I say "shoes" as opposed to "boots" because he says they feel like he is wearing high top shoes, not boots. He loves the style too! He wears them to work in an office, but also to hike. We both love Chaco products! Very comfortable! Did I mention this is my husband's second pair of these same boots? That is truly a testament as to how much he likes these boots!

The ChacoGrip soles are extremely low quality and cracked almost completely in half after 3-months of use. These sandals used to have Vibram soles and would last up to 2 years. I strongly recommend against purchasing Chacos if you ever walk more that just driveway to door. I'm still in search of a replacement, as I have spent the last 10 years just replacing Chacos every 2 years. I'm not about to do that every 3 months.

Always wanted to own a Chaco sandal. They look like fun & comfortable. For some reason, I wasn't expecting the base to be chocolate & the straps black. Since the leather pinched my little toes, they are being returned. Great support for my foot, though.

Nice looking show. A bit stiff and bottom is not cushy, but I like ti anyhow. Looks good it long pants. Toe box is roomy and I had enough room for my custom orthotics. I order an 11 (which I usually wear) and a 10-1/2 and ended up keeping the 10-1/2, so they run a bit larger than other shoes.

Love these! Very comfortable for those of us that need more arch support and a wider sandal.

Loved the shoe. Too much arch support for me. Also, tried them on in my home for about one minute and any little fleck (My house is clean, but not immaculate.) stuck immediately to the bottom which is very sticky. I could not even rub it off. This would not be good for someone who has pet hair around. We do not.

Love them. Buy a new pair every year. Wish they came wider.

I wore these shoes out of the box as my only pair of shoes on a trip. They were great from the airplane to city streets to desert hiking. Pros: zero break in time required, tread is excellent, very lightweight, roomy in the toe box, removable insoles, laces stay tied. Cons: tighter across the widest part of the foot means my taller orthotics won't fit, and as other reviewers have mentioned, the skinny faux-leather strip on top of the toe scuffs easily and the shoes are not waterproof. All-in-all a great shoe and I'm contemplating buying another pair in a different color.

The best boot EVER! Comfortable soft sole waterproof and almost like wearing a sneaker!

The back of the shoe binds against my heal. I have been wearing Chacos for fifteen years and this is the first bad shoe design I've come across. Bummer. Go back to the tongue design.

incredibly comfortable, light weight, breathable. True to size. Very happy with the shoe. Seems well constructed.

After reading the reviews from others, I decided to try a better flip sandal with better arch support. Not all manufacturers give a sizing suggestion for their shoes. So I decided to measure my foot. I normally wear a 10, but not in this shoe, I am a 11. So I purchases the 11. The sandal definitely has great arch support, better than any foam kind. Surprisingly, the 11 fit with some spare toe room (great for those who have long toes). My heel fits in the heel cup and the arch of the shoe hits the arch of my foot. I have a B-C width, and do not hang off the side. My right foot stap feel tighter than the left, but after wearing them for a while, the strap seem to stretch a bit. I like the feel of the leather sole. So very comfortable. So I recommended measuring your foot and following the guide before you blindly purchase these sandals in your regular size.

Cute and great arch support. Roll the cuff up with skinny jeans or keep it down. Love the different looks.

I love the look. They are easy to get on and off with the zipper. But they are too narrow for me in the toe bed (at the ball of the foot). Have to send back.

This is the first pair of chacos I've ever had. Everyone I know loves them and say they last forever. I ordered 4 pairs from wonderful zappos to compare and ultimately chose to keep these. These were comfy right out of the box! I appreciate the leather footbed and leather straps. I appreciate that everything, including the straps are stitched along the edges, which I feel will be much more durable. The toe strap and one cross strap are not adjustable which is fine to be but may be a disappointment to someone expecting a usual Chaco. I have found them easy to slip on and off once the ankle strap is adjusted. I feel secure and stable clambering around. Can't personally speak to durability as yet but feel quite confident based on the construction and reputation, enough so that I am taking these to live out of my backpack in South America for a year.

The shoe looked amazing and I was so looking forward to wearing them on my up coming trip to Panama but unfortunately the straps on it even though they are a bit adjustable were too tight around my toe and over the top of my foot

I am not the kind of person that usually buys this type of shoe as they are not really my style, but I am so glad I tried them. They are supportive, comfortable, stable, and secure. I usually wear an 8.5 but these fit great in an 8. I like the Rindshell Slate color as I find it a neutral black shoe, without being solid black. It should go with everything. I tried both with and without the toe loop and single versus double straps and these were easily my favorite. I did not think I would like the toe loop, but that's what keeps it secure. Being able to adjust the straps makes all the difference. I also found the double straps more comfortable than the single which surprised me. I cant wait to wear these on vacation in Mexico!

I've had these shoes for a while now and wore them ALL day today, an active day! I would say they grow on you. I typically wear a size 9 and ordered these in a size 8.5 which is roomy enough since I don't wear thick socks here in Texas! I would definitely try half a size down. I think the reviewer who said they hit her ankle bone wrong didn't give them a chance to soften up a bit. I felt the same thing on my first wearing but it subsided as they conformed somewhat to my feet and ankle. I think they look terrific and I love the gray color. I am sure I will enjoy wearing these for years to come.

These are my first pair of Chacos. Coming from Birkenstock sandals - where I own several pairs - I was a bit skeptical about the comfort of these, how can anything be more comfortable than Birks? And whoa, what a pleasant surprise! The Cloud footbed is a soft rubber as opposed to Birks' cork footbed. They felt cushiony and squishy. My feet did definitely feel like walking on clouds. I originally was looking at the standard Z/2 Classic but was deterred because of how heavy they were as opposed to these (I looked at the originals in store); glad I made the decision to get these since they are so lightweight. Added to that is the one strap design throughout the sandal; I think this is very clever. It took me a while to figure out how to loosen/tighten the straps but once they were on they fit was very secure.

These shoes are great for by the pool or walking to the beach. Not the best support for me to wear all day but definitely a good pair to wear around water.

These were purchased to replace my beloved Chaco Tanana sandals which finally wore out and are now unavailable. So, my review is essentially a comparison between a different style--which I loved--and this shoe. I am not a fan of the Flip EcoTread. The footbed is not nearly as comfortable as the Tanana--it is stubby instead of the cushiony "LUVseat platform" that the Tananas offered. Although it has an arch (relative to your standard cheap flip), it is moderate and not nearly as supportive as what the Tanana or Z2s offer. The width is perfect for my medium to narrow feet, but I don't think they would work for wide feet. The strapping however is comfortable and soft out of the box. The non-slip sole is nice. I wore the Tananas year round since we have hardwood floors in the house, but I can't see these Flip EcoTreads as anything but a transitional shoe until I find a flip that offers more arch support and more comfortable footbed. Again relative to the Tananas, I think these are overpriced for what they offer and I'm disappointed by the shoe.
