Purchased this shoe because it was on sale, and inexpensive. I have purchased other Avia shoes and find they generally hold up as good as more expensive shoes. The toe box is nice and roomy. They are very light. Hope they last, at least, through the summer. The only thing that I did not like was the white sole with the black upper, I would have preferred to have a black sole as it would stay cleaner looking. Also, as shown in the close up pictures, the black leather accents are very shiny, almost like patent leather. Which is sort of weird on an athletic shoe.
