The shoes are a good entry level performer. Others I had seen were a bit stiffer in the sole, but I use a plastic stiffened insert with good results. good value for the money, great toe materials and limit your trips and falls.

I only recently started running, so I didn't want to drop a huge chunk of change on my first pair of running shoes. The price was my biggest factor in purchasing these. I've been very happy with them. The understated looks are nice; I find bright orange runners to be a little obnoxious. They feel roomy and breathable, and offer enough support for my feet. The soles grip dirt trails nicely, and they don't feel out of place on pavement or gravel, either. I also use them as light duty hiking shoes, and they shine for that purpose. I haven't put them through enough paces to see how many miles they'll last, but I'm optimistic. Considering the dollar signs, I'll probably replace them with an identical pair once they give up the ghost.

Great looking shoes! Quite a bargain for the price too. I'm an underpronator with moderately high arch. The shoes are not all that sturdy. Its been close 2 months and its worn down considerably already that I might have to look for a new one in a month or two I guess. Arch support isn't all that great either. But they are comfortable and snug and plenty of space for my size 13 toes! Get it for the price provided you have a normal running style.
