My husband has trouble finding shoes in his size. After unsuccessfully trying the area shoe stores,I found these at Zappos. He loved them and loved them so much I ordered a second pair. The shoes are perfect and exactly what he wanted.

Just want to start by saying Zappos.com is a great place to shop. Great service, great selection. I just received these shoes and i love the 4e wide comfort these provide for my wider than average feet. They are also nice to look at and go great with jeans. Light weight, good looking, and comfortable. I didn't get these to run in but they are great for just everyday use and you simply cannot beat the price. Will definitely consider Avia in the future and will absolutely buy from Zappos.com. A great buying experience all around.

Buying these running shoes has been the best decision I have made in a while. I like the fit and comfort of Nike running shoes, but lately Nike hasn't been as durable as they used to be. Luckily, Avia has some really durable, tough running shoes that are very close to Nike in terms of fit and comfort. I actually find the arch support to be quite a bit better and more solid than the Nikes. I, being a person who is harder on shoes than the average person, need shoes as durable as these. I will definitely be coming back to Zappos next time I need running shoes, and I will also be coming back to Avia. Basically, if you like Nikes, you will really like these Avia runners.

Just received these today and my husband loves them! I've purchased a few other pair of Avia's from other stores and they just don't fit. I then realized you have to be careful of the width size. Most stores just say wide, but Zappos had the Wide - 4E, so that made the difference. That would explain why reviews on all the other sites kept saying the Wide still felt narrow and not enough room. Thanks Zappos for having these! I just ordered a second pair for him now!

These shoes are comfortable and perform well on the track. The arch support is above average. They are really stable shoes, and I can tell that they are durable. These are my first Avia running shoes, and I am very impressed. This was also my first Zappos purchase and I am thoroughly amazed.

Very good value! They fit well and are good for the gym. Only strange thing to me was that they smelled very rubbery when they first came out of the box. The smell passed after a few uses, however.

Anyone who likes to run should own a pair of these Avia running shoes. The technology that Avia builds into their running shoes is what puts them ahead of other athletic shoe manufacturers, and it is what makes their shoes so comfortable. Not only does the 5020 feel great and perform well, it will also last a long time. I run about 50 miles per week, and can still get a solid two years out of these shoes, as with all my other Avias. My current pair was bought in January of 2009, so they are almost two years old and still perform well and look fine. The midsole is very solid on these, so I have taken them off road quite a bit, and they can handle a somewhat harsh terrain better than your typical runner. I also could use these for working out at the gym if I wanted to. I had to order one half size larger than I would with Nike, but that's not a problem since I've gotten used to Avia's sizing over the years. This is one shoe that I would highly recommend to any athlete looking for a solid, long lasting running shoe. These are inexpensive, but perform better and last longer than many $90 shoes that I have bought in the past from other brands. Avia seems to know what they're doing when it comes to running shoes, and Zappos seems to know what they're doing when it comes to customer service!

I have wide feet and have never had a pair of walking shoes that was comfortable. These are well made shoes and very reasonable in price and you can pick any style you want. I will buy again and service is fast.

These are the best running shoes that I have owned in years. I used to live near a sporting goods store that sold Avia shoes and I had always liked them. I have since moved and it has been difficult for me to find stores that sell Avia, so I had been wearing New Balances, which are not nearly as comfortable and durable as Avia. After finding these shoes on Zappos, I was so happy! I bought the A5020M and they are awesome! These shoes have the same great quality that Avia has built its reputation on. My feet feel much better after runs with these than my old New Balance shoes, and I can feel the extra stability that you get with Avia's cantilever system which is built into nearly all oof their shoes. It not only helps with cushioning, but also stabilizes the heel, preventing injuries.

These are just what I would expect for the price. They are nice looking and fit, but seem flimsy and probably won't last long. So as I said, I'm happy with what I got for the price.

My 15 year old son has had three pairs of the Avia 5020 over the past few years. He likes the look, and they have good support for his wide, size 13 feet. I like them because they are durable and easy to clean. He plays football and trains in these shoes, so he is constantly getting them dirty, but they can be washed in a washing machine and come out looking good as new. I'm glad that he likes Avia because he can get several years of use out of them, despite being really hard on them. I once got him a pair of Nike Shox, which he destroyed in a week, so now all he wears is Avia. He has been getting the red and gray style Avia 5020, but now that Zappos sells the shoes in black, I will probably buy those for him next year. Zappos is the best way to buy shoes, without a doubt!
