The service was great. The shoes are not. The shoes have poor footbed support and I should have sprung for a higher quality brand. I will not buy this brand again.

I tried these on in a store first, they run small by a half size and they run wide, and they seem flat with no arch support other than a nice looking sneaker.
Brands I'd also recommend: new balance

Decent walking shoe, but not the best I have ever owned. It does not have alot of padding or arch support. The concave outsole takes some getting used to. It's a standard walking shoe for everyday use, but not the best for anyone with serious knee or back difficulties.

I've been buying Avia for years and have always loved the quality and comfort, so I was shocked when I received this pair. The quality is so poor that I thought I had received a knock-off. The leather upper feels like a hard plastic, the stitching is sloppy, and the usual athletic laces have been replaced with cheap thin ones that will probably break within a month's time. I tried wearing the shoes, but they're miserably uncomfortable. If this is the direction that Avia is taking, I won't be buying the brand again. This shoe looks like a $19.99 off-brand discount store shoe rather than a more expensive name brand model. I wish I had returned them rather than attempting to wear them. Going to toss them and buy another brand. Very disappointed.

Not the best walking shoe. My feet hurt more after walking in these than if I ran. There's not enough support in the heel and almost no cushioning.
