This is the latest crosstrainer from Avia. A very aesthetically pleasing upper featuring a clean look. The heel has the ubiquitous cantilever heel that is synonymous with the brand. An added feature is the new AVI-180 technology which enhances the effectiveness of the cantilever heel. While the cantilever cradles and centers the foot, the air bag (AVI-180) softens impact. You will no doubt be pleased at how much shoe you get here for such a reasonable price. I find this model to be spacious in the toebox area and to run slightly on the big side. I am a usually a 10.5 but purchased this in a size 10. The shoe has proven to be durable, very comfortable, and it looks great. Zappos, as always, has them at your doorstep quickly and efficiently.
Brands I'd also recommend: I am a loyal avia customer.

I've worn various models of Avias for years; they're the best fit I've found for my own feet. These are just as good as any of the others, and maybe a bit more comfy than the last pair (A339Ms). I'm used to the Avia sizes so it's not surprising that they feel true to size to me.

Although I'm very heavy, I still try to play some tennis. This shoe has more cushioning than maybe all the New Balance tennis shoes and cross-trainers I've tried. I wish it was in a wider width. Don't get the white, as the upper is different and too hard. The other two colors breathe and feel much better.
