I have been purchasing and wearing this brand of sandal in size 8 (I'm a 7 1/2 but Athena does not come in 1/2 sizes) for many years. On the web site this style looked cute and white sells out early. But this sandal is narrow only across the instep and pinches and since is is Patent type material has little flexibility. The rest of the sandal fits like a standard size 8 medium. Also, the hardware detail on the white patent is gold color, which is not described on the web site. I have to return it due to poor construction across top of instep.
