So cute and comfy! But I don't think I can dance in them (a lot of your foot is exposed) I was shopping for a wedding so had to return these, but I am a true 10 and the 11 in these fit perfectly. If they were on sale I would've kept them.

Updated review: Beautiful sparkly shoe, but runs very small and narrow. 1/2-1 size too small. But a very pretty shoe. Also very light, doesn't have great grip.

These are my favorite shoes ever! They are so classy looking, feminine, and comfortable. I typically wear a size 9 and these are just perfect. I am surprised at how well they support my feet. The heel gives a very good height boost, yet they are extremely comfortable due to being a platform heel. Finally - a heel I can wear all day...and they go with everything from jeans to dresses. I will miss them come winter.

Nice looking sandal but too narrow. It's not very comfortable so I had to return it. Should definitely size up.

I have an typical/average width foot and I'm pretty much always a size 8.5. This shoe is super comfy but I understand why so many reviews suggest ordering larger. My toes and heel come exactly to the edge of the size 9. I don't want to exchange for a size 10 because I don't want it to look sloppy on my foot. But looking down at my foot, not much of the shoe is visible other than the strap. They are cute and I am happy with them, but sure wish they offered half-sizes. Because I feel like a 9.5 would be perfect.

Comfortable and cute. I can walk a long time in these shoes; the heel height is enough so I don't look dowdy and am still comfortable. The look good with jeans or skirts.

These are beautiful shoes and they would be for someone with tiny feet. The foot base is narrow and I could barely fit the shoe on my foot. I felt like one of the ugly step sisters. An 8 is not even close to most shoe company 8's. So, I would order one size, maybe 1-1/2 sizes larger than normal. And if you have any width to your feet, you will not be able to fit these.

I bought a pair of shoes last year in navy for summer, I was so surprised at how comfortable they were, but when I went back to the store to get another color they were out. I was so happy to find them here, and purchased my 2nd pair. I agree that you need to size up.

Cute and comfy. The soles are much shinier and plastic-looking than they appear in the picture but I can live with that since I can't see them when looking down. Nice height without being ridiculous, and feel more stable than sandals with heels.

Cute shoes, comfortable overall, but the knotted leather at the top puts weird pressure on my foot when I first put them on and kind of aches. They seem to stretch and get better as I wear them, but it happens each time. Otherwise, stylish, great for summer, and just right for work to casual events.

A really nice looking shoe, clean cut, pretty style. The reason I have to return it is because the buckle hits the top of my foot everytime i put my foot on the floor. It would cause a sore spot quickly. Hated to return them.

I love these sandals so much that I bought them in two other colors as well. They are comfortable and have become the go to sandals for pants and skirts. The coloration goes with anything! They are clearly five stars in my book!

These are super cute. I bought my normal size and they fit perfect. Nice heel height. They come with extra stones just in case one falls out. Love them and they're dressier and the average black sandal.

Good looking shoe, I ordered up to a 9 from my usual 8.5 and it was the perfect length, but the width was too wide to feel safe, even though my foot is wider than a M, but not a true W. I don't think it has any arch support and I don't think it would be comfortable for me to wear for long periods of time. (Would like to buy a particular Onex style instead, but it's out of stock in black!) I appreciate Zappos offering free returns!

I absolutely love these shoes. After reading the reviews, I ordered one size bigger than normal, and they fit perfectly. I wore these to a wedding, and received so many compliments, and best of all, at the end of the night, my feet did not hurt. Let me say it again...I love these shoes!

Beautiful sandal! Per other reviews, the foot bed itself is a little narrow for a medium width. The overall length is true to size. I love the look and the feel would be awesome if it were just a little wider. Unfortunately will need to return.

I own many Athena Alexander brand shoes - over a dozen at least. I purchased these shoes last year and loved them for the first few months...then they began really stretching out and when I walk my foot goes too far forward now and off the shoe in the front. Darn shame because they were my favorite shoes for those first few months. Now I will have to toss them as they are no longer functional.

Have been a big fan of Athena for years. They do run small so order a 1/2 size up! Now the bad - these shoes fell apart after 4 wears. They are glued together and horribly constructed! Very disappointed. Zappos, of course, is awesome in handling this. But just a warning that they aren't well made and with what you pay for these - it's not a great investment.

I have a 11N foot. ALL shoes that size fit me. I ordered this in 11M and its way too short and way too tight. Beautiful shoe but size up in every way.
