I love Aster shoes. My daughter has wide feet, and the adjustable buckle allows her to fit these to her wide instep. She runs around the playground and says they are "like sneakers." The patent holds up very well to wear, but as this is only the 1st week of Kindergarten, I will check back if they begin to show wear later on. These are well-made and well worth the extra cost. The style is classic and can be dressed up or down. An excellent shoe that is very well worth the extra cost. I know other parents who buy their children 6 or 7 pairs of shoes that are not well-made throughout the school year. I buy one pair of Asters and they last the whole school year or until she outgrows them. Makes dressing a breeze. Her foot sizes at at 12.5 W currently, and the 30 fit perfectly, although it says it is a 12. I also bought the 31 and they were noticeably a half inch big with her heel slipping when she walked, so I would say that these shoes in a size 30 would fit 12 - 12.5 comfortably.

Also, the color is gorgeous! The Navy Antique is like a pearlescent navy, glossy and shimmery. Very pretty and a much nicer look than flat navy patent, which I will never buy again after seeing this color.

These are too cute! They run true to size, are comfy with lots of support without being clunky or heavy. Darling with white socks or tights. My little doll wore them to school the next day!

Absolutely love these shoes. The only problem is the sizing is a bit large. I purchased a 28 and the sizing indicated that would be a 10 toddler, however, it is really more like an 11.

My daughter loves these shoes. She wears them almost every day, and says they are as comfortable as her sneakers. This is the most she has ever worn any non-sneaker shoe, so I feel like it is money well spent. Worth every penny!

I thought I must be losing my mind spending this much on a toddler shoe but after having such a difficult time finding a good fit at children's shoe stores and watching her trip so often, I decided to try it. After all, Zappos' returns are easy. It is so cute and simple. Classic.
