These shoes are ultimate for women who hike big. My pair, which has already seen lawnmowing, is about to meet the Himalayas, and Zappos gave me \r\nthe best price. Go for it!

Love these boots! I am a Montana girl and these boots fit my active lifestyle perfectly, as well as my feet! Between hiking, camping and backpacking my feet stay busy, comfortable and dry. And in the Beartooth Mountains that is a feat all of its own! They are great in snow as well, which is great for me since Montana mountains have snow all year round! If you are looking for a great slightly heavier boot, check out Asolo's 520.

I had my Salomon shoes for 17 years and I had to get rid of them, they were falling apart. It was difficult for me to change but these shoes made me very happy: in deep mud, on ice and snow, on rocks, they were perfect since the first minute of the 3 days of hiking. I am 6.5 and I took 7, it was perfect. And thanks Zappos for your wonderful customer service: I had a problem with the connection and speaking on the phone was not easy for me, I am French and my English is not very good. But they were very nice and helpful. I really appreciated!
