I got these pants and the jacket for running outside in the cold. I only really use them if it is below 40° which is not often in my area. They are surprisingly warm for how light they are and very comfortable. The reason that I rate them so critically is because they are way too long and baggy. I am 6'3" and the large drapes over my shoes and drags on the ground. These are like lounge pants that are supposed to be for running.
Brands I'd also recommend: brooks, saucony, new balance, pearl izumi, nike, adidas
