Does what it says. Nothing spectacular here -- a solid shoe that does pretty much what it says. Though it is a wrestling shoe, I wear it for boxing. Does the job.

I love them. Very light and comfy. Almost feels like you aren’t even wearing any shoes. I love them. They have a thin sole unlike walking or running shoes so there isn’t that thick cushion. If you need a lot of bouncy cushion for your foot, these don't have it. They fit snug to the foot and offer great grip, balance and support. I'm very happy with mine. :)

Weird shoe - Well, after reading the reviews on Zappos, I ordered a women’s 7.5 (I wear a 6.5) and the shoe is still too small. Not only that, but my average width feet are squeezed so tight I can’t walk around! I am returning these. I'm going to try another brand!

I bought these for kickboxing. I actually used to freestyle wrestle in high school and haven't worn wrestling shoes since (about 12 years). My kickboxing class recommended wrestling shoes and I shopped around online and one site said that Asics and Adidas recommended that people order a half size larger than what they normally wear. I did and I think the fit is good. Any larger would have been way too big. My feet would cramp during class some because there is no arch support but I am sure an insert would work or my feet just need to get used to the fit. They look very nice and are durable.

Great for the price - You get what you expect. It's a quality, flexible shoe. I use it for stage (in a rock band) so I can feel cords under my feet. Great balance and fit.

Split second. I like the style of this shoe. It felt a half size smaller than what I ordered. Maybe go up a size if you are considering buying these. Takes a little while to break in and become comfortable.

Runs Small - Be careful on sizing. I ordered as recommended for translation to my size in women's. I got it and it was too small, and then ordered a half size up and still too small. Seems like an okay shoe just not sure I want to do this a third time. Zappos is great though, easy to return.

Senior (over 40) Wrestler - I bought these for my 43-year-old husband, who has started wrestling after a 20-year break. He wears a size 10-1/2 street shoe in regular width and has "square" feet. Initially, he thought these too narrow, but after 2 workouts said they fit fine in the width; length was true to size. Of course, arch support is lacking, but that is the nature of the shoe. He really likes the split sole, as only unisole was available to him when he wrestled in high school and college.

Felt a bit bigger than my size, but still wearable. I bought this shoe to use during weightlifting and shot put and discus competitions. It feels a bit bigger than marked, I normally wear a size 18. In New Balance and Dunham shoes this size fits me well. When I tried on this shoe I had possibly an inch of room in front of my big toe. You may possibly need to wear a size down from what you normally wear, but this shoe still works for me. I see no need to send it back since this inch gap doesn't affect it's performance for me. The ankle support keeps my foot in place without it shifting in the shoe and with the split sole my foot touches the end when the sole bends, so the inch gap may be intentional (I wouldn't know why though). Still, I feel it is a comfortable, good looking shoe.

Great for Jiu Jitsu - If your one of those people like me that need to wear mat shoes for jiu jitsu while overcoming a toe injury, or for ankle support, these are great. The split sole helps with foot flexibility. No complaints.

A bit narrow at first - I bought these shoes for weight training on the advice of my trainer. I had to order a half size bigger than my regular size because they run small. They were very tight and narrow at first, but after wearing them a few times, stretched out. Overall a good shoe.

Wrong sizing - The shoe is fine, but the sizing of the shoe is WAY, WAY off. I wear an 8 in a women's shoe. I had to order an 8 in the men's shoe for it to fit.

Asics Split-Second VI - I use this shoe for boxing and it works really well. Good traction, very light, and fits tight. It might seem a little too tight at first but it should soon mold into your feet.
