These pants are wonderful running pants. The material is light and wicking, and stays dry feeling, even on long runs. I purchased 5 pair in total and now use them not only for my daily runs, but also lounging around the house. Although pricey, they are worth the money. The fit is great. I wear a 4 in most misses pants, and a small in other running shorts/pants, such as Nike; I am 5'9 and 135 lb. I ordered the small in the ASICS Legato, and they fit snugly around the hip and upper/lower leg. If you are taller than 5'10 or so, however, they will probably run short on you; they are right at my ankle with my height. I also like that the legs are not baggy, but more fitted around the ankle -- and not flopping around at the ankle -- which makes them comfortable for running and other exercise. There is also a zipper on the outer ankle of each pant leg, a nice upgrade compared to usual long running pants.

Waistband is twisted/rolled over after every wash. Very annoying. Either a design flaw or I have a defective item. Zappos happily refunded this order. I will definitely continue to order from Zappos for myself and family.
Brands I'd also recommend: nike, under armour

The fabric is great, and the pants fit very well, but the pockets are awful. I haven't seen pockets sewn in so clumsily that they actually bunch up when worn. No amount of straightening out could smoothen out the bulge. These pants are being returned.

I am 5' 9" with super long legs. These pants are so nice and comfortable as long as you do not need to do anything laying on your side or belly (Yoga or outdoor boot camp on a mat...no good). Why? The zipper pockets are killer - the zipper jabs into my leg and hip and doesn't feel good. For tooling around they are lightweight and feel yummy on! I wish they'd create the pant without those dang zippers! I am returning them.
