I purchased these for my four year old son about a month ago and they seem to be holding out well. He has a wide foot so I ordered him the wide and it fits him perfectly. He also puts them on by himself with ease since there are no laces. We needed a shoe without laces and that came in a wide. I was not going to buy New Balance due to the fact that our previous pair tore apart within four weeks.

Great sneakers! This is the 2nd time I've purchased these sneakers for my son, 1st at 4 years old and now at 5 years. He has a wide foot and I was able to order these in "wide". Perfect! He normally wears a 12.5 shoe, size 13 in this shoe fits great.

We bought these specifically for Sports Camp. My last pair of shoes was lace only and it turned out to be a nightmare. This combo of lace and velcro works perfectly. The sneakers are sturdy and comfortable.

My son and I love these shoes. He just put them on today and they fit him well. I have been disappointed with the last two pairs of shoes he has gone through because the Velcro closure seems to wear out within a month or two of wear. He has had the Cars and most recently the Skechers light up shoes. Only time will tell if the Velcro will hold up on this pair. I thought he might be disappointed because of the lack of lights on these but he never commented about it. The other quality I like about these are that they are super light at six ounces. I realized the other day how heavy those Skechers are and to me, it seemed unnecessary, almost wrong, to have him weighted down so much, especially when he is trying to run and jump as fast as his little legs will take him. I bought the color black/red because I do not want to spend a lot of time trying to clean all the dirt off. They look really nice too!

I have always bought Tsukihoshi's for my kids so initially I was hesitant to buy something else. Now that my kids are older, these are definitely the type of support shoes that my active kids need.

I purchased these for my 6 year old and they were even better looking in person. He absolutely loves them. Very easy for little ones who don't tie their own shoelaces to get them on and off.

These are my son's second pair. He grew out of the last pair. The previous pair held up wonderfully with daily use. Easy to get on. Good support for his constant motion.

These actually worked great for my son who has wider feet. We tried several other sneakers with the elastic laces combined with Velcro but in the other styles, the Velcro part was attached to the laces and it was all on one piece and we couldn't get the Velcro strap to fit up over his foot. But in this sneaker, the elastic is separate. They are easy on and off for us and our son. And they look pretty cool as I hate the look of the sneakers with 2 Velcro straps. I'm not a big fan of sneakers with characters on them. And lace sneakers right now are not convenient for us. (Just a note Saucony makes a sneaker that is also made like this with the Velcro strap separate from the laces, but now that my son is in an 11T, they don't make them in his size, or not that I've found.)
Brands I'd also recommend: Saucony (for smaller than size 11T)

I bought these Asics for my 5 year old for a trip to Disney World. We walked all day for ~14 days and his feet were comfortable the entire time. I also got us the adult Asics and I must tell you it is like walking on clouds. I will never buy another brand of sneaker. My son needed the wide since, as I read in previous reviews, these run a bit narrow and my son has big feet.

My son has narrow feet. These fit very well and are very durable, especially compared to other brands we've bought in the past. As long as they are available, I will continue to buy them.
