Overall, this is a great shoe! My son says they're very comfortable. Well made, very lightweight. Runs a little small though; had to reorder in half size bigger and those won't last long for size. I'd recommend ordering a size bigger than what is normally needed.
Brands I'd also recommend: New Balance, NIke

This is my son's favorite so far. He has 3 other Asics pairs all bought from Zappos. He runs very fast in these shoes. My concerns are with the quality as two of his other pairs had holes and torn shoe laces in the first week. he is not rough with shoes at all. Overall these are very good shoes. Time will tell if they hold up or not.

We live in the country and my seven year old son is hard on shoes these have held up great. It has been about two months and no problem with the laces, soles or toes coming apart. Zappos is the number one shoe source for myself and my three sons.
