ASICS are my 9 year old sons favorite shoe and this style has been his absolute favorite so far! Fits his some what wider foot great and has held up well with recess and being a 9 year old boy and all and highly recommended!

My son's last several pairs of shoes were Asics and he really likes them. However, when we ordered and received this model, they seemed significantly narrower than the other Asics shoes that he'd worn. We returned the Antares 3 GS and will try another model.

I bought these for my 12 (almost 13!) year old son. He loved that (1) he didn't have to actually leave the house to go shopping, (2) they fit his need of being almost completely black in color, and (3) they fit great and were comfortable right out of the box. We'll shop like this again.

This shoe may look weird on your feet, but they feel good when running. Back of shoe is starting to cave in after 4 months. Back of sole is falling apart.
Brands I'd also recommend: Nike, Asics, Brooks
