I love these shoes for my 6 year old daughter. I had bought these in the aqua blue in size 13, when she first started Kindergarten, August 2012. They held up great and I bought the purple in size 1 since she had grown out of size 13. I have washed them and will be passing them on to Goodwill as they still have plenty of wear left in them. Great style with no-tie laces and stylish Velcro strip. Awesome colors. Just as happy with them as I was with the first pair. Daughter cried when I told her she needed new shoes when the aqua ones were getting too small, until she saw the purple pair and realized it was the same shoe but just a different color. My daughter has a narrow/medium foot. These shoes were ready to go right out of the box. No break-in period required. We love Asics and love Zappos!

Bought these for my 10 year old son and he absolutely loves them. We typically have to purchase a wide width in other brands, but the regular width fit him better in these ASICS. He also has a high arch and these are providing him adequate support for every-day wear. My son is very active and hard on school. So far these shoes are holding up to all of his running, climbing, and jumping. I also like the laces they used. They seem to stay tied better than others and are not unraveling. Both mom and son are happy!
Unfortunately, these shoes do not hold up for as pricey as they are. This was not my 7 year olds first pair of Asics but this very poor designed shoe sole started separating after minimal wear! Not a happy mother or child.

These don't fit quite as wide as New Balance, but they seem to be made better, at least so far (my son has only been wearing them about a month). They're still in pretty good condition, and he wears them daily. We had to loosen the laces a bit more than normal to facilitate my son's wide foot.

My 11 year old daughter loves these shoes! She said they look like gum stuck together. The more colorful the better these days. And, of course, they are extremely comfortable.
My son loves these. Fit instantly. Didn't want to take them off. We tried to explain that he needed to wear them in slowly, but he just wore them and they work. Love the look, too.

These seem to be holding up well. My daughter wears them for track/5k and she says they have the right amount of cushioning. We originally bought a pair of Suacony Kinvara 3's (mostly attracted by the bright colors), but she found those had far too little cushioning and actually started to have knee problems in them. These Acics are working out much better. Only downside is they seemed to get kind of stinky surprisingly quickly!
This shoe looks good but wears terrible. My 5 year old wears them everyday to school. He has only had them a month and they are already falling apart. The bottoms are coming off and the soles are ripping. These shoes are not worth the money!
These are great shoes. Bit more than I usually like to pay for kids' shoes but they are cute and have great supports. I found these to run a little on the small side. Got half size bigger than in other shoes and it fit just right.
My seven year old daughter finds these very comfy and cute. Her foot runs slightly narrow and these work well. (Tsukihoshis are too wide for her.) She is hard on shoes, and these seem to hold up. I notice many of the boys in the class have the boys' version of this shoe as well, and they are all in one piece so far.
First of all - as usual - Zappos is the best...we are addicted to you and your amazing service hands down. Bought these for my daughter and she loves them...super cute and perfect for gym class. She wears them more often than actual "gym days;" however, since the color is "awesome." Says they are "crazy comfy."

Bought these for my daughter who goes through a couple pair of running shoes a season and she really likes these. They're sharp, comfortable and durable.
I am an avid Asics fan for my son, age 10. He has low muscle tone associated with his diagnosis of Down syndrome and these shoes provide the best support for him without wearing custom orthotics. He is flat-footed and these give great arch support as well. This style is particularly nice because it looks like a big boy shoe but has the convenience of the velcro strap. Asics also wash well in the machine and we air dry...take insoles out before washing and throw them in the washing machine separately. I believe in investing $$ in quality shoes for myself and my son.

My 8-year-old daughter has wide feet, and up to this point I have bought Stride Rite for her, because their sizing and quality are reliable, and they always have wide. But as she has grown, selection has narrowed, and when our last pair of Stride Rites only lasted 6 months - the seams ripped apart before she outgrew them - I decided to widen our search. I'm so happy Zappos offers a good selection of wide shoes! We love these shoes! My daughter loves the colors and comfort, and they are super sturdy and well-made. She wears these every day to school, and for fun on the weekends, too. Highly recommended!
Besides being the comfotable well made Asics that they are, this color and style is super cute. I bought these for my 10 year old granddaughter and she loves them.
My daughter LOVES these! She needed new shoes after outgrowing her K-Swiss tubes. She loves the bright colors, she said they make her feel taller, their very comfy and she loves that she doesn't have to tie them!
