Wanted to love these socks - but I don't. Fit is great, I wear an 11 1/2 shoe and ordered L. I have low volume feet (bony) and these fit nice and snug. I hoped that the "high density cushioning" meant cushioned, but it doesn't. They're thin, thinner than Nike Elite. I've been running in DeFeet Cush and and love them but was hoping to find something better. They seem like a quality sock and the Zappos sale price is great so if you don't need cushioning could be just right for you.

I have tried many socks, and these are by far the best that I have found. They cover the ankle bone, have just enough cushion and wick away sweat. They wash up great. These are the only socks that I wear for running and cycling.
Brands I'd also recommend: Orca wool tops, Specialized bike shorts for women
