Because of my large feet, I have been purchasing other brands of cross trainers/running shoes that I knew fit my feet. This is the first Asics shoe I have tried and I am so glad I did! These are incredibly comfortable and very supportive shoes that fit my 12N foot perfectly. The gel in the heal and sock-like interior are great. I participate in a women's bootcamp that requires a superior shoe, and this is it for me. Great for walking, running, lifting weights, and all kinds of aerobic movement. I am a convert...thank you Asics!

These shoes are really wonderful. They are as attractive as they look in the picture. They fit well, and they don't have a tongue, which makes them rather sleek for athletic shoes. They seem very true to size, at least for my size.

For the most part, I like this shoe. I do a variety of group exercise classes 5 times per week and strength training 2 times per week. So, I am using them every day. I like the way the shoe performs for lateral movements and the extra cushion in the forefoot helps with the jumping and running in place. I really like the mono-sock feature; I always hated the tongue moving around in other shoes. This shoe has a roomy toe box which I like because I am starting to have bunion issues. In all of my shoes I replace the insoles with OTC arch supports; I still think I may need more arch support. My previous shoe: Gel-Intensity. I have used the Gel-Upshot for one month and like them well enough to keep.

I'm a group fitness instructor who teaches BodyStep and BodyAttack. If you are looking for a great shoe for boot camp, high energy/high impact aerobics, or training this is a great shoe! I've been wearing mine for a couple of weeks now, and the foot pain that I was experiencing in my Nike shoes is gone. I'm so happy with this shoe. The stability that it offers is great! The heel is actually a little wider on the inside of the shoe, which seems to help with my pronation. It has good cushioning, but you won't feel like you are floating above the Earth. Because a lot of the movements in my class are fast and explosive, too much cushioning makes me feel wobbly. The only downside is that this shoe made my feet look big, but I am a size 11. I would definitely recommend this for your Step, aerobics, boot camp, and training classes. Due to the traction on the bottom of the this shoes (which is pretty good) avoid this shoe for Zumba! Enjoy your workouts!

This sneaker is super-comfortable to wear, and is great for walking and training. I do P90X and other cardio programs at home, and a lot of them involve a lot of running in place and jumping. I've found that this shoe not only cushions my feet comfortably, but also helps protect my bad knees, courtesy of the gel heel. I absolutely love these sneaks, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good training sneaker. If I had to say one slightly negative thing, it would be that the insole has a tendency to move around if I'm doing a lot of jumping or lunges. But it's a small price to pay for such a great shoe.

This shoe is a keeper! It has excellent support and cushion for my feet during lounges, jumps, kicks - really, for my entire kickboxing class. The pillowy tongue helps hold my foot in place during lateral movement. And, there's plenty of cushion for landing jumps. I've got narrow, flat feet and this shoe is great! It does get a little warm in there, though.

This is the third pair of Asics I have worn. These are the best yet! No break-in period at all. No hot spots the first day of wear. I love them. I used to be a Ryka wearer but I am now a fully converted Asics wearer. Zappos, thanks for stocking them.

Once again, another shoe that doesn't come smaller than a size 6. I wear a 5.5 and can sometimes wear a 6 but these were definitely too big. Toe room was okay but my heel kept slipping out.

I wear these shows for high impact aerobics and they give me great cushioning and stability I need for lateral movements. I am used to wearing a thick, padded sock, but it is not necessary with the Asics because of the padding in the forefoot. I also notice that the shoe does in fact wick away moisture from my feet so I'm not soaked when I'm done with my workout. Yeah!

These are the stiffest shoes I've ever worn. They feel narrow in the toe area and really have no give at all. Immediately knew these would not work for me. Aside from being narrow they did feel true to size.

I love these shoes. The fit is great and so is the support. I felt hesitant to order these because I didn't feel confident about the pseudo-tongue they feature. I'm glad I went ahead and got them - and the modified tongue design is one of its best features.

These shoes are perfect if your looking for a cross trainer style. I do Zumba boot camp, and step-aerobics in them with ease. I have no tried running in them (I hate running so I may never try it to be honest!) They fit true to size. Some workout shoes they say to order a half-size larger. I did not I ordered my true size (7) and are very happy I did. I would recommend this shoe to all! Stylish too which is great!

Love these shoes. They support the arch and front of my foot when I'm wearing them. I can tell a real difference in my workout with their support & my feet don't hurt afterwards.

A great shoe for step class. It does not have a tongue--love that (as it cannot slip to the side). I ordered 1/2 size up and am very pleased with this shoe.

I chose this shoe based on the reviews regarding lateral support (used for aerobic and step classes) and style (they look great with my black workout pants). The first thing I noticed out of the box is how long they look! 90% of the shoes I own are size 7 (the rest are size 6 1/2), but these seem a half inch longer than my other size 7's. I thought about exchanging for a half size down, but they are really tight, and I didn't want them any tighter. They are cute and offer good support. But the first and last time I wore them, I felt a blister forming on my little toe. They are just too narrow in the toe box for me. In addition I have narrow heels, which slip out of this shoe like most of my shoes. So if you have long narrow feet with a narrow toe box but not a narrow heel, these are the shoes for you!

I heard of these shoes from the Shape Magazine annual shoe review. That was my starting point. I don't have time to run around at different stores just to locate some shoes that I might be interested in. So, I rely on Zappos - for the honest reviews, the wide selection and the shopping convenience. With that being said, these are awesome shoes. I use them for Step and bootcamp workouts. I bought 2 different types of Asics...one for cross training (the Up-Shot) and the Nimbus for running/walking. Both of these fit like a glove...no breaking in period at all. Nothing to get used to. I highly recommend these as well as the Nimbus.
