I loved the idea of a real trail shoes that I could use while hiking. I'm a little frustrated as I ordered the same size as the Asics running shoes I enjoy, but these are a bit too wide. I have to tie them real tight and my feet get numb.

Wanted to love these. I always wear Asics and seldom have a fit issue. I always wear a 9 1/2. That is what I ordered and these shoes run wide and slightly long. With thicker socks I still had heel slippage. I had to send them back.

I was quite surprised with the uppers and the pattern of the laces. I own trail shoes called Gel Trabuco and assumed I would get an updated version. The laces were super long. This (and my previous) shoe has a little flap at the top of the tongue for tucking the bow and loose ends into. Because there is excess lace to deal with, this becomes a bother. There are only three pairs of eyelets. Overall, the shoe is comfortable and the fit is fine. Just feels a little cheap on top. I have wide feet and have always bought Asics runners because they are generous in the forefoot and accommodate my orthotics. I must admit I thought I was getting a knock-off but I trust Zappos.
