These are the best shoes I have ever purchased for walking. I have orthotics and with these shoes I don't need them. I saw a review on them in "SHOP SMART" magazine and decided to try them. I am ordering another pair to be able to trade off. They are wonderful and they let my feet breathe.

These sneakers were recommended in a health magazine so I immediately went to Zappos to purchase. They are exactly what you need in a walking shoe in good cushion, flat even bottom, very comfortable toe box.

Very nice looking shoes, finally one without metalic weird colors. Although the shoes fit well, I found the Nimbus12 offered greater cushioning. Unfortunately the Nimbus12 is very metalic looking, but decided to go with it for the fit. I wear orthodics, have a narrow foot with high arch, pinched nerve in toe area and very little padding on the bottoms of my feet.

This shoe was recommended in Prevention magazine as having a special pocket and extra comfort for bunions. Interestingly, none of the Asics product descriptions contained this information, and I found this shoe to be disappointingly uncomfortable in the bunion area. The sole is also rather hard and not as cushiony. I'm going back to New Balance - their shoes are cushy and soft and have a nice wide toe box that works great with bunions. Prevention got this one wrong!

If you are heavy, these do not offer enough support unless you are not going on long walks (over an hour). Wish they offered a c width.

This is the best walking shoe ever. I have used running shoes, cross trainers and Avia avi-motion and this one is by far better. Soft mesh on the shoe top makes it great if you have a high arch and gel is great! I do much power walking and look forward to this shoe.

I walk a ton and I have never found a great walking shoe (I usually just wear my running shoes to walk in...bad) until now! These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned! I tell my son every time we walk that it is like walking on pillow! Worth every penny and I have told everyone about them! I am ready to buy a 2nd pair to have for the future! Amazing shoes!

I love my new asics walking shoes. I walk to work everyday and they have saved my feet. The most comfortable shoe for walking I have ever worn. Zappos rock with shipping, fast and all aspects of service. An A+ in my books.

I bought a pair of Asics Gel Tech Walker Neo 2 W and they are extremely comfortable. I wear them for walking. They are the most comfortable walking shoes that I've ever bought. I highly recommend them.

I was so excited to receive these shoes and so disappointed once I did. They ran small and way too small and way to tight. I bought my usual size but they didn't work. Not at all what I was hoping for.

This shoe is very comfortable; however, when walking through a hospital corridor yesterday I noticed that with each step I took the shoe made a crunching sound. A nurse in the office also commented that she could hear this sound too. I am very frustrated about this.

Love the shoe but it runs a 1/2 size smaller than its predecessor model (the Neo). Really, I had an unworn, in the box, Neo to compare and there's no question: The size 9 Neo is bigger than the size 9 Neo 2. Had to return for an exchange. Why the heck would Asics do this? All that being said, these are great walking shoes. I walk 20-30 miles/week. Just hoping that the Neo 2's treat my feet as well in 1/2 Marathons as did the Neos.

The Asics Gel-Tech Walker Neo provides excellent arch support and heel cushioning during my daily 4-mile walks. There is plenty of room in the toe box for my medium-width feet, and there's no heel slippage while walking. This style also seems less "clunky-looking" than other brands of supportive walking shoes. I have been wearing Asics Gel-Tech walking shoes for years, ordering a new pair every six months, and have always been happy with their comfortable fit. My shoe size ranges from a 10 to 11, but I wear thicker socks with these, and the size 11 fits perfectly. The only negative is that the mesh on top of the toe box gets dirty fairly quickly, but the meshed area does help keep your feet well-ventilated during your workout.
