This was the first pair of Asics Gels I have tried, though I have wanted to for a while. I was a avid New Balance buyer for the last five years. Though the style leaves something to be improved, the fit and comfort was amazing. I have worn these shoes for two solid weeks, and my feet tell the story. They are very comfortable, provide good support and good balance. When I went back to my New Balance shoes, I could tell the difference in comfort right away. You deserve to try a pair, at least once, and see if Gel is right for you.

The shoe is exactly as described. It is quite comfortable and takes absolutely no time to break them in. They function very well as running shoes and they are comfortable to wear in the laboratory for 15+ hours a day. These are definitely worth the price.

Other brands, I wear a 2E or 3E. Asics just don't fit with even a 4E. Looks like a great shoe, and the price was great. But I can't get my right foot, the more narrow of my two feet, into the shoe at all.

Good starter shoe, tread has lasted many miles and reasonably stable and cushiony for larger runners on road or track surfaces. Do not recommend for trail running.

Stay away! I have never had injury problems; however, after running in this shoe for 2 weeks my right knee is in so much pain I've had to take 2 weeks off. I will never run in this shoe or in Asics again.

I bought because I wanted new shoes, but have gone back to my 2 older pairs. I think something is wrong with these shoes because I am having pain on outside of my left foot when I wear them. Perhaps I got a lemon. Also they are the smelliest shoes I have had in years. They look like they would breathe but do not.
Brands I'd also recommend: nike, dr scholls

Really comfortable shoes. I wear them to the gym and outside to go jogging. Great support and I didn't even get blisters the first time I wore them (a first for me) I have wide feet and these fit true to size. Zappos really has their stuff down with this 1-business day delivery... Hands-down the best apparel website that exists

We had a hard time finding this model in a hard to find size in local stores, so we took a chance and tried Zappos.com. I'm glad we did since the shipping was quite fast and the price very, very fair.

I used to buy the more expensive Cumulus models to run marathons and 10-milers. I decided to go budget-friendly this time around and got these and I can't tell any difference. These are good running shoes.

By far the best shoes I ever had! Comfortable, lightweight, extremely cushioned without being bulky. Simply amazing! My only wish is that Asics make same exact shoes, but for trail running.
