I think this may be a nice flat-semi-minimalist. Not as drastic as an Inov-8, but more of a trainer then a 12 ounce cushioned shoe (although knees and other body parts may pay the price of lack of cushioning). The flame/lightning color have too much of a Spiderman look for me. Think I'll try the white/black/silver.

This shoe is amazingly light -- lighter than the Gel Kinsei and the Gel Nimbus and it has a fantastic design. Great shock absorption and all around your feet, even your toes are cushioned and it supports your ankle with a somewhat steel toe. Fantastic shoe, get it. I've probably had 20 pairs of Asics in my life and this is by far the best pair.

Just received these. Actually feels about a quarter size narrower than I would prefer. I keep wondering whether to order a wider shoe or just "break them in."

I was looking for a light running shoe with good cushioning (for under-pronation). This shoe is like a pillow, with both forefoot and heel GEL system. The design is totally unique as well.

Felt great right out of the box. I run 20 to 25 miles a week and i needed a shoe for some tempo runs. I also run with Adidas and Nike.

Great shoes. I had to exchange twice as they run very small..I wear 10.5 and i finally got size 12 that fits me well, but great shoes are very light. They are very comfy for running. Zappos you are the best. I will buy more and more from you guys. Thanks!

My son requested these for his birthday present. He is a runner and workout buff. After receiving them he immediately called and thanked me for the the most fabulous, comfortable running shoes. So I took it as a good sign and ordered him another pair as a surprise. He found them to be very light weight and fit true to the size he asked for.

Great shoe! Ran a half marathon in them shortly after making the purchase, and they felt fine. I am a 10.5 and ordered 11, but they were still too small. I'd recommend ordering a size larger. The service on the exchange was terrific from start to finish. Cannot say enough positive things about zappos!

Very fast shoe. It's super light, it feels like its very low also, but its also very cushioned too. It's pretty flashy too, which may or may not suit you. The toes feel a tad narrow, but I think it's due to the sock like feel of the shoe.

Sleek, lightweight and very cushioned. It may require a replacement insole as it is very thin but shoe provides great comfort. I will be ordering another pair after 300 miles.

My son has a tough time finding comfortable sneakers that have the look he's after. I admit I took advantage of Zappos free shipping and ordered several pairs for him to look at, as the local sports stores didn't 'fit the bill for him! I think he would have kept 3 out of the shoes we received, Zappos has the absolute best selection. But the Asics gel were amazingly comfortable, and looked really cool. They are light and all around well-made, comfortable (unbelievably) and super stylish!

I love these shoes! I ordered a half size larger and they fit perfect. I wore them the first day for 10 hours and my feet felt great. These are my new favorite shoes, which is saying a lot because I own approximately 30 pairs of shoes.

Cool shoes! Ordered these to match my company colors and wear with my work gear. Very lightweight and great cushioning; so great for being on my feet all day. Mesh actually covers the outer part of the shoe and the 'Asics Stripes" are actually the mesh just cut a bit 'taller' and at angles to give you the design. I put magenta shoelaces in to complete the look and they are awesome. Love these shoes!
