I am a fitness instructor. I teach Zumba, Turbo Kick, Boot Camp, Tone & Chisel and more. Asics are the only shoe I will wear for any sport. The fit is awesome. Especially for my wider forefoot and narrow heel. I have high arches which are supported beautifully by this shoe. And are they gorgeous? Yes! I get compliments every single day. Do not pass these up!

I wish they made these in a wide width. They seemed really sturdy for motion control. They were just a little too narrow for my feet, particularly because I have bunions.

I love this shoe. It is lightweight and extremely comfortable. Asics Gel shoes are my absolute favorites. When I bought these I bought another similar pair. They are my 3rd and 4th Asics. I buy a half size larger than my dress shoes and the fit is perfect!

This is a second review (update really, but I apparently can't edit my previous review of the sneaker; if it's possible someone tell me how!); see other review for initial thoughts. Once I finally got the right size (7), I gave the sneaker a workout! First time wearing them was strictly indoors doing burpees, and they felt fine. I then wore them for the majority of 7 hours on my feet helping a friend move. Initially, when sitting still in the car, the narrowness started making my right foot feel a little tingly, but once I started standing and moving around, my feet felt fine. They didn't hurt a bit after all that time moving around on my feet. On my first run in the sneakers, everything was great. They felt solid underfoot and supportive. These might be a little heavy for serious distance runs, but I don't really long distances, so not an issue for me (yet). If you have even slightly wide feet, these won't work for you. They definitely run narrower than my previous Asics running shoes; it's not an issue for me personally once I get going, but I can feel it when I first put them on. I do expect this to lessen as I break in/loosen the sneakers with wear. Also, the hot pink/blue combo can NOT be beat for awesome brightness! These sneakers make me happy!

I bought the hot pink/black/electric blue combo shoe elsewhere because I really wanted them and Zappos did not have my size at the time. No biggie! I have had the shoe for about 6 months now. I have mainly worn them for casual wear but I have worn them for zumba (which I totally would not recommend the shoe for) and for some running. The shoe is comfortable and has really good cushioning in the heel for when your foot strikes the ground. It also has some cushion to the forefoot area which is great when used for casual wear. The shoe is not a good shoe for zumba (or classes like it) because the shoe has amazing grip (not something you want for zumba). It's absolutely great when running on wet pavement/roads/grass and for trail runs. The only one bad thing where I must take a star or two off is because the tread seems to be coming apart. The pink teeth like thread on the bottom is coming off, I glued it back on because I love the shoe that much but it is sad that Asics would make a shoe that come apart so quickly. I'm the type of person that if I find a shoe that works, I'm sticking to that shoe but this one seems to have that one flaw so I will look for something more sturdy.
I'd also recommend: New Balance, Asics, Reebok
