I tried both these and the Asics UpShot. I like these colors better, but ultimately, I was looking for a cross-trainer to support my flat foot. (The supported running shoes for pronators weren't cutting it in my core class and giving me Achilles pain). With the Upshot shoe I felt like my arches were still falling, but in this shoe I feel quite supported, despite them not being for pronators.

This shoe is very comfortable. The part that wraps around the heel is very padded and soft and feels like it hugs the heel pretty good. That being said, the shoe points at the toe a bit more than I like. I have big feet (9) and try to do what I can to avoid making them look any bigger. I still can't decide if I want to keep them, although they are one of the most cushion-y running shoes I have ever tried.

These shoes are sturdy, supportive, and excellent cross trainers. I felt like the arch support was perfect while at the same time the shoe provided the right amount of cushion. I tested these out by doing burpees and they felt great. When in the pushup position, they were stiff and solid, and when do my squat jumps they provided a good soft landing.

I am really liking these shoes for step and BOSU classes. The instructor suggested a cross-trainer instead of running shoes for more support. I definitely feel more support around my foot in these shoes especially when doing lateral movements. I don't feel quite as much cushion for the bottom of my foot though. I usually wear a 6.5 or 7 and ordered a 7 which fits great.

Very comfortable and work well for my cross training. I was having trouble finding a shoe that fit well but also didn't let my foot slip around in it during a workout. This one has worked very well!
Brands I'd also recommend: I love Asics and Nike Shox.

These fit perfectly. They are true to size and description. They look better in person as the picture doesn't give them justice. This is the best purchase I have made in a long time and they were at my door in half the time they should have been. These are a must buy!

These shoes look great and have a very comfortable heel. However, they are not cushioned enough for my liking under the ball of the feet. I prefer my Nikes. These shoes run small. I had to return the pair I ordered in my normal size and get the ones a half size larger.

This is a great shoe. I am a fitness instructor at our local Y and needed a versatile shoe for different types of classes. This one fit all the criteria. Great support, moves well, and is above all comfortable. I am in love with this shoe!

Love, love, love these shoes! They work really well as a cross trainer for my kick boxing, weight lifting, plyometrics etc. I ordered a half size up to accommodate my orthodics but these shoes were comfortable right out of the box. And as always very pleased with Zappos speedy delivery.....they deliver them so fast that there is no time for buyers remorse!

I love these sneakers. They are great for Zumba. They have really good support for my arches. My only complaint is one of the eyelets is not sewed in the leather. I did not want to part with them to send them back. That does not affect the fit.

I'm an avid runner and only wear Asics for my runs. When I was looking for a cross trainer for kickboxing I turned to Asics first. These shoes fit great and provide plenty of support for jumping, kicking and lateral movement demands of kickboxing. I've also run some short distances in them and my feet felt great. Would definitely recommend them!

Excellent training shoe!!! I need a good cross training shoe for Group Fitness classes involving kickboxing, circuit, cardio and strength training. This shoe has amazing support. I feel like my foot is held securely in place especially around the heel and arch. I have a fairly high instep and this shoe works great. I tried three other shoes made by RYKA. I liked the RYKA Synergy and that would have been my second choice but this shoe had a great deal more support. If you like a light shoe that is roomy, the Synergy is great. I like my training shoe to be solid and secure.
