I have suffered from heel spurs, shin splints and knee pain from surgery. I recently started taking Zumba classes and would have to come home and immediately ice my knees because my current shoes provided very little shock absorbency. Not wanting to give up such a great class, I was now on the search for a pair of sneakers that would eliminate the achy knees. I went to an Asics store in Manhattan and received great customer assistance to determine my needs for the right shoe. I tried several of the shoes with shock absorbency and they were good. Then, I put on the Gel-Kinsei 4 and felt like I was walking on clouds. I was extremely happy to hear that I could actually wear them for 30 days and return them. And try them out I did! I went to Zumba class that night and was bouncing around with the best of them!! They are on the pricey side, but I look at it this way, better pay for expensive sneakers now then to pay for a really expensive knee or hip operation later because you didn't have the right pair of shoes.

I am sadly disappointed at this Asics shoe. The price is outrageous for such an uncomfortable shoe. Asics are my go to shoe for all my running and marathon needs, this particular style isn't even suitable for walking. I wear a normal width, this is meant for a narrow foot, it dug into my feet from the sides and top I had to change shoes in the middle of the day after walking around in these to break them in. Sadly disappointed and wasted a lot of money.

Love these shoes! Very comfortable and I keep getting compliments. A nice change from white shoes, especially when I always where black workout pants.

Very nice shoe but a little pricey. I don't think it is that much better than other cheaper shoes for the price it costs. Also, from the picture, I thought it was going to have a lot of cushion, but it didn't have more than other more basic or cheaper shoes. It seems pretty durable though and it looks very nice.

These were heavier than the Cumulus and were actually loud when walking in them. The toes were more narrow than I had read in other reviews. I love Asics but these have to go back.

These are incredibly comfortable. I work 12 hour shifts as an RN and I forget what's on my feet, but everyone else notices!
I'd also recommend: New Balance
