I am a long time Asics owner, first time reviewer. The Asics Gel-Kahana 5's are the best pair, yet. Excellent form fit. No awkward spots that rub or irritate my foot. Instantly broke them in and was able to go running 5 miles on the first day. Very impressed with the quality, too!

I ordered a size 12, which is the size I have worn in Adidas and New Balance. However, it was way too small in Asics. I had to send them back and order size 13. Other than this, Asics is a comfortable shoe.

I've worn the Kahana 4, and for the past year or more the Kahana 5. This shoe has been a steady performer for this large male who tends to be a mild over-pronator, and has in every version to date has been reasonably priced. It works especially well for those who are not heavy heeled in their stride, and offers a relatively neutral running and/or walking platform. The outsole is practically indestructible, while the midsole offers a good amount of cushion. I have kept my old pair for yard work, and to wear when I am in the ocean, and will alternate the two new pair to give Asics time to get Version 6 on the market!

This sneaker was purchased because I have a very wide width and I usually have difficulty finding wide width sneakers in stores. It is always a pleasure doing business with Zappos they always have what I am looking for.

I always use Asics for running shoes. Their wide shoe seems to fit my foot well.I bought this pair to wear as a comfortable casual shoe and they fit great and look a little dressier for casual outings!

I bought these in a 10 and found them a little too small. The toe box in particular is very narrow. I returned that pair for a 10½ and they fit great but still a little narrow in the toe. They look great and are well constructed. I really like the grey/orange colorway. On their maiden voyage I wore them all day while volunteering at our local airshow walking on hot tarmac and they were very comfortable.

Shoes are relatively new, but I haven't found a brand with more cushioning and support than the Asics Gel line. It's difficult finding a comfortable running shoe in 4E width and Asics makes it. I wish they offered a wider variety of colors, but the comfort and durability can't be beat.

Great trail shoes! I wear a 4E and there aren't many options out there for the wide foot. These fit, give plenty of support, and hold up to the rigors of rough trails.

I usually prefer Brooks running shoes, however when it came time to purchase a pair of trail runners Brooks does not make a wider shoe in a trail runner. So I decided to give the Asics a try and have been very impressed with the overall quality and performance so far. I have only taken the shoes out on the trail about 5 times, the most recent was a 15 mile round trip on the Appalachian Trail section known as the roller coaster which is an up and down very rocky section. The shoes held up well and my feet felt great the next day. Overall for the short term use so far they are very good shoes.

These feel good right out of the box, usually I have to put gel pads in to get the comfort I want. This model feels comfortable with support. They are really good shoes for under a good price. I am keeping the trend at five stars. Overall nothing to mark down for. Comfort is exactly what I was hoping for in both shock absorbtion and support; the style is exactly what I need and the traction is great.

This pair of Asics Gels are my second purchase, and once again the comfort is amazing. Not just when I first put them on in the morning, but all day long. My feet feel better in the Gels than any other shoe I have ever purchased. I think Asics really has something special in the construction of their footwear. Try a pair for yourself! The price really is fair.
