I had ordered the predecessor of this shoe in my normal size of 8.5 EE and it really ran short, so when I ordered this one, I bumped the size up a half a size to a 9. Has worked wonderfully, and after being on my feet ALL day I can come home and not be lame. It has been a wonderful experience. I had previously tried New Balance, Brooks Addiction Walker and Saucony. I prefer this shoe and my Saucony.

I love black shoes and thought these would be the perfect purchase. They felt good but as I have worn them I find my feet still hurt at the end of an eight hour on my feet on concrete day. It has not gotten better. I would not buy these shoes again. Two pairs of socks help so it may be part my fault and even though they did not feel like it they may be a half a size too big. I have set them aside and gone to Footsmart to buy an orthopedic pair of Asics. I will save them for walking after my feet finally heal up with better, for me, shoes.

Even though they were wide... the heel hit well. They did not gap like some wide shoes. At first I thought they were to tight, but I just was not used to a shoe fitting!

I am so glad I decided to take a chance. I absolutely LOVE these shoes and Zappos. I liked the mesh Asics I had for summer, but I needed leather for the cold Indiana winters. I ordered a 1/2 size larger than I had before, so I would have more toe room. They fit perfectly! Arrived quickly, too. I have back trouble, and these fit the bill when I have to stand or walk for extended periods of time (work in health care). NO COMPLAINTS... will order again.

Really comfortable shoe. A lot of cushioning & fits true to size - excellent support. The only issue is that the laces aren't long enough. Would definitely get again.

Walkers are comfortable but a bit stiff to break in. Good value, true to size. My feet are narrow so I have to tighten a lot to keep from slipping in heel.

This may be the most comfortable walking shoe I have ever worn. he gel in the sole allows me to walk much further than I could before. My only complaint is that although these were a size wide, the shoelaces were barely long enough to tie a teeny bow after I had my feet in the shoes. Since all shoe manufacturers seem to be using synthetic, slippery material for laces, I had to stop every ten minutes or so to re-tie my shoes. The laces were not long enough to tie into a bow-knot. I went and bought some longer laces, and now am completely happy.

Given the reviews I did order these shoes half a size larger. I never really had to do that before and the extra wide always worked. I have various foot and back problems. These shoes hurt my right foot as soon as I received them. I was really upset because I love black sneakers.

Love this pair of sneakers. Great arch support! I usually wear an 8.5 but I got a 9 and they are a little roomy but in a good way.

I love this shoe! I've always had a hard time finding a shoe that fits because I have very wide very flat feet. I think this is the best shoe i ever owned. When I first put them on they were very tight and I thought I might have to send them back, but after a couple of weeks of wearing them in they now fit perfectly. They look good and give me the perfect amount of arch support (not too much not too little) for my very flat feet. Before my feet would be killing me even after a short walk in any other shoe, but I can walk in these all day long with no pain. They are well worth the price. Highly recommended.

Not cushiony enought for me. I really wanted some extra cushioning in heel area but these felt a little too hard. My old Saucony XT100 feel better.

I have been wearing Asics Gel Nimbus shoes since my podiatrist recommended them last year. Unfortunately, they have a mesh toe covering and are not very good walking shoes for Washington's rainy weather. The Foundation Walker has been perfect and is almost as comfortable as the Nimbus. I use Birkenstock inserts in them for my plantar faciitis and can be on my feet all day with no pain.
