I did not dislike this shoe. However, I did not purchase it, because compared to the other two I was trying, this one felt a little flat, like it didn't have enough cushioning. I like lots of puffy cushioning. Otherwise, it felt stable and good. I've never had an Asics shoe before, but I was impressed with all 3 that I tried. I recently purchased this shoe and I'm so happy with them. The first time that I wore them I walked over 6 miles and my feet felt great at the end. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that has foot problems.

I bought these shoes for my job, which entails a lot of running around and climbing on shelves - I work in a warehouse - and for walking my dog. These were great initially - tons of cushioning, and they molded to my foot perfectly. Just recently, however, I wore through the inner front part of the sole area (where the big toe is) on both shoes - so much so that I'm limping by the end of the day. Four months seems a little too short of life for shoes. I usually can get around six months of wear from my shoes. Maybe I was just too hard on them, but either way, buyer beware. If you are on your feet a lot and give them a good pounding daily, I would look at something more durable. If you are looking for more casual wear, these are perfect. Pretty sad these didn't last longer, but they were pretty inexpensive, I guess.

I was a bit disappointed with the lack of sole support. The sole pad is thin and you can feel "bumps" through it. Other than that, a good shoe for the price.

Great shoe. I love Asics sneakers. I buy a pair every 7-8 months. If you find a pair that fit you well and the style you like, you will never go back to anything else.

After my heart surgery, I received a pair of Asics and it was unbelievable to walk in. Since then, I've tried Reebok, Avia, New Balance, and always returned to Asics. This last pair is the best yet and would recommend Asics to anyone and at an time. Zappos has been fantastic in their handling of my order, and I received my last pair within 36 hours after ordering.

These shoes look good and are quite comfortable. The only downside is that the front third of the shoe seems to fit wider than the back two thirds which makes it feel sloppy when running.

I recently developed a sharp pain in the arch of my foot but wasn't sure why. Turns out it was my old pair of shoes which I will never wear again. Switched to these about a week ago and my foot pain has healed entirely. I'm working out again with zero problems, where before it was simply my day to day movements that were causing me pain. Comfortable, a nice bit of bounce in the sole, and excellent arch support. I think I'm an Asics man from here on out.

very comfortable shoe, I use it for everyday use, walking, jogging and just started to do P90X and they are perfect for these types of workouts. they dont look to bad either.

I have a moderately wide foot and these shoes fit me perfectly. Zappos does a great job shipping quickly and returns are not a hassle.

I bought these for work at a warehouse where I'm on my feet for 12 hours a day on concrete. They were very comfortable until they wore out. I got about 6 good months out of them, and then a couple of so-so months after the soles were crushed. For light use they might last quite a while. Only other issue was that the little piece of rubber sole that folds over the toe at the front came unglued after about a month on both shoes. The rest of the sole stayed glued the entire time I owned these.

These are very comfortable right out of the box. No break in time was needed. They are airy and lightweight making them good for summer walks.

Too tight/narrow. I wear 4E and is okay in other shoes. This one restricted, though not as much as the "ASICS GEL-170 TR." By loosening the laces, I was able to get it on my foot, but it was very snug. The cushioning felt great. If they made a wider size, I'd definitely try it. I've tried two ASICS, and each was too tight/narrow compared to what I usually wear.
