- PHF® (Personalized Heel Fit) creates a custom fit as the two layers of memory foam that line the collar mold to your heel.
- Soft, breathable fabric lining offers a great in-shoe feel.
- Removable foam insole supplies light underfoot cushioning.
- I.G.S® (Impact Guidance System) is an ASICS design philosophy that employs linked componentry to enhance the foot's natural gait from heel strike through toe-off.
- Solyte® midsole is lighter than standard EVA and SpEVA® designed by ASICS. Its responsive nature delivers a supremely cushioned ride and makes it highly durable.
- Rearfoot & forefoot Gel® cushioning systems work together to better attenuate impacting shock and allow the foot to move fluidly throughout the gait cycle.
- Space Trusstic System™ mid-foot stabilizer creates a pocket between the Trusstic System unit and the midsole, promoting more controlled midsole deformation, as well as more efficient foot function.
- Guidance Line® technology employs a vertical flex groove that decouples the tooling along the line of progression for maximum stride efficiency.

They dropped the heel in the Cumulus 14 and made the show narrower compared with past years' models so it feels like a completely different shoe. For those upgrading from the Cumulus 12 or 13, this will feel like a complete departure, shop for a different shoe

Completely different feel from the rest of the Cumulus series. Before I even put the shoe on I could tell there were drastic differences from the previous Cumulus shoes. For someone who underpronates with a high arch, there's no arch support and way too much cushion for the outside of the foot. I used to be able to put on a new pair of Cumulus shoes feeling as if I'd worn them for a month. With the Cumulus 14s, I feel like I'll never adjust to them. Very disappointed in the changes.

This is my first pair since I switched to Asics from New Balance and I have to say I am impressed. I wear a large size and these feel great on my feet.

Another quick and easy Zappos purchase! I wear a size 14 so Zappos is perfect for me. I shop from the comforts of my home on my iPad and receive next day shipping. I love these Asics and would recommend them to anyone. Go Zappos!

Best shoes I have had in years. Got them and immediately had to use them on a 5k walk. Worked great. Then a week later, wore them tromping through airports. Again, very comfortable, breezy and well worth the money.
