Im a college runner and I was looking for a casual shoe that would provide some quality comfort. I wasnt looking for the running shoe look so I felt these would be sufficient. So far they are nice, quite comfy. the heel seems very solid and not flimsy at all. im still skeptical of the running shoe look, but I know I would not use these as running shoes. thats my opinion though

This is a very good pair of shoes for the price! I was looking for a semi-athletic shoe that was casual enough to wear with jeans or even khakis, and I think you can get that with this pair of shoes. They do look more like a running shoe than I would have liked, but I've gotten used to it. They are very lightweight and have a pretty comfortable sole. However, I have had them for a month now and now that I have broken them in, the sole feels as if it's starting to break down. But they are a less expensive pair of shoes. So if you are looking for a good pair of running shoes, don't feel as if you can buy these shoes to avoid paying for a pricier pair. But for casual purposes, and the occasional athletic activity they are a great buy!

I purchased this shoe a few months ago to wear as a casual sneaker. I wear it every so often to work and out for when I just need to be wearing a "shoe." I think the shoe looks awesome and the comfort is great. I love asics running shoes, and it has the same general feel of an asics shoe. It's also really light and just an overall great shoe. The only issue I have with the shoe is it's durability. The first pair i purchased a few months ago quickly picked up a hole in the mesh. I'm thinking this must have happened when i rubbed against a curb or something, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I only had them 2 weeks so I called Zappos - being as amazing as Zappos is, they replaced the shoe and the problem was solved. Just today, I was in a hurry and slipped a little on the sidewalk, resulting in me needed to drag my toe for a second. When I looked down, the sole wrap up the front of the toe had separated. For now, this is manageable, but I feel it will continue to wear down over time. This stinks, but I still love the shoe. So, with that being said, i knocked off a star due to durability - other than that, 5 star shoe.
