The first thing that I noticed about this shirt was its soft material, and how comfortable it is to wear. It runs true to size. It has a loose, but not a tent-like fit, and is not form-fitting unless you purposefully size down. If you want a shirt that will give you a nice cut look, this shirt sized down is a great option. I have worn this top in several Half Marathons and last month in my first Marathon. I will be wearing it again in a Marathon this weekend. Mine take over 5 hours to complete. And believe me, that long of a run in any shirt will tell you once and for all how it performs, especially in terms of comfort. This is now my distance event shirt of choice until it is hot enough to move to a singlet. In chillier weather, I also use this shirt in its long sleeve version. Because of its overall comfort, this is also my lounging around the house throw-on top of choice. So I can honestly see how the Favorite got its name. This top is light, perfectly cut to fit to size without binding or chafing, and breathes nicely. The fabric though is rated 50+ UPF and does a great job of protecting your skin. It also does a fantastic job of wicking moisture without becoming soggy and heavy during an especially sweaty run -- like inside on a treadmill. This ability is owed in large measure to the vented fabric on the front and in the middle of the back. You don't notice that the vented portions are even there when you are wearing the shirt. But in a workout, you can definitely tell that they are doing their job to keep you cool and dry, and without a hot wet shirt that is perpetually stuck to the small of your back. The one downside of this soft, light, airy fabric is that you have to be careful not to snag it. But having said that, I have several of these shirts that have been in weekly use for over a year now and they still look new. These launder and dry with no extra fuss. So if you take care of them, they will hold up and serve you well.

A quality shirt that fits perhaps runs just slightly large. The odor protection unfortunately is not as effective as smart wool. Overall though, a good shirt.

The sizing on this shirt is way off. I ordered a small and the one I have is definitely not a small. I have another ASICS shirt that fits just fine but this one is closer to a medium or even a large. The seams on it are heavy and stiff. Overall, not a comfortable shirt to run in.
