I bought these boots for my husband and he loves them. He wears them with suits and slacks and they look classy. He said they need a little break in time but overall are very comfortable and fit true to size.

These boots are awesome. They look amazing, with the distressed leather. Up until now, I always liked cowboy boots but was nota big cowboy boot wearer. These boots have changed that. I'm wearing these 3 days a week and are by far the favorite footwear I own. As expected, one foot was tighter than the other, but after about two full days of wear, they are fully broke in and perfectly comfortable. The rubber soles are great for nonslip and the padded insoles are fantastic.

Best boots you can find for the price. Beautiful color and great fit. I wouldn't read too much into the poor reviews on sizing. These boots are just fine, I'd ignore the complaints above about sizes. I would go to your local western store and try on different sizes to confrim your size before ordering. It's not rocket-science. Also, I've found that this site runs cheaper than most the stores in my area even with shipping. I've shopped around a western outlets and still didn't find a better price on (Ariat) which is my boot of choice. The heel does protrude from the rear, but I find this to be an attractive feature with the wooden heel and the accent color. The pitures above are accurately depict this small ridge and one shouldn't buy them to complain about it later. In my opinion these are five star boots with poor reviews as a result of consumer error and poor attention to detail.

I love the orange hue to the chestnut boots. The over sized heel mentioned in previous comments is not a problem for me. It protects the boots as well as prevents the rear pant leg from being dragged under the heel. I love the classic look you get with these wooden heel boots and the fact the heel is a little larger simply matches the leather sole that accents the boots. These boots are beautiful and I have had nothing but compliments. Great product at a great price. Great buy.

The boot fit about 1/2 size big. I wish I would have bought the 10. A little bummed but I have already worn them.
