Great comfort, great look. This brand makes super comfortable shoes that last and last. I have a pair of riding boots that are now about 12 years old and still in great condition. These mules are clearly made with the same commitment. They offer great arch support and look like nice boots from the front, under a pair of pants. The heel is just right at 1.5", sturdy and easy to walk on, but with a bit of height.

This is the 5th pair of Ariat shoes I have purchased and once again they are just so comfortable. I could walk all day in them. They are very cushy. The only real downside is that they are not particularly attractive, as they look like you are wearing motorcycle boots when you wear them with jeans. The other downside is the movable strap. I wear it in front, as I think it makes the shoe look more attractive and I don't like wearing a strap behind my heel, but it does make the shoe look bigger than it actually is. However, I would still buy them again. Very comfortable and the more I wear them the better looking they get.

I loved this Ariat mule and the Sport Clog when the company made them years back. I ordered one of each in black. I thought they were both a bit smaller than the usual size 9 I wear, maybe because of the stitching across the instep (which wasn't in the old design). And black leather shoes sometime run smaller than other colors (I find). My feet are a bit wider than B. While they would probably stretch a little bit over time, neither fit comfortably. Alas, I must return them and there are no 9.5 pairs!

The Ariat Mule that I recently purchased is actually my second pair of this brand and style. The previous pair is now seven years old and was purchased from Nordstrom. This is an excellent quality shoe and fits my slender/bony feet quite well. It runs true to size, in my case a 7M. It has not stretched out of shape over the years and the leather looks like new! You have the option of wearing the shoe as a clog or using the strap around the heel for extra support.

Love these mules. I have three pairs and wear them all fall, winter and spring. The oldest one, my "messy shoes", are around seven years old and are holding up great. They dress up or down, look great, excellent quality. As usual, super-fast shipping from Zappos.

Love these! This is my first experience with this brand. Perfect fit. Wore them shopping right out of the box. They surpassed my expectations. If your feet get tired, just change the position of the strap and you get a whole new feel. It's like having a second pair of shoes. Plan to use these as my new travel shoes.

These are great shoes, so comfortable right from the first time I put them on. I\'ve worn them with the strap in back once but like it better with the strap in front. I wear orthotics in my other shoes but don\'t need them in these. The fit is perfect. Customer service on this site was excellent also.

These shoes are extremely comfortable and look very good with pants. They are a little wide, but stay well on the foot. Soft, padded sole. I wore them on the 24 hour long plane trip and was still able to wear them after the flight!

I loved my old brown Ariat mules, but when they started to look a little ratty after 8 years I thought it was time for a new pair. This time I got some sleek black ones. My order came in record time (Zappos, you guys rock!), and I was delighted to find that the quality has not changed. They are very well made and are so comfortable, I love them!
Brands I'd also recommend: I wear Dansko\'s in the Summer and Ariats in the Winter and my arches are happy!

I LOVE Ariat shoes. They are the most comfortable. I am thrilled that they still offer this shoe but wish they would make it to the specs of the old version. While this is one of the best clogs made - comfortable and with the strap is flexible... the new one has a seam across the top which is not as elegant. Also the inside is just a little tighter with man made stuff...not the leathery feel of the old version. Still it is by far my favorite (above Dansko's etc).

This is one of my favorite shoe styles of all time. So glad they're still available. I am wide through the toes, so these give a nice boot look without pinching. I love the strap which flips back for more stability when I'm traveling.
