Interested in new Ariat Kids products?
In 1990, Ariat International co-founders Beth Cross and Pam Parker set out to create a new company and a new way of thinking about footwear for riders. They realized that traditional English and Western riding boots were stiff, heavy, and hard on children's feet and not very well suited for riding. Both riders with backgrounds in the athletic shoe industry, they realized the unique needs of young equestrians both in the saddle and on the ground.
They assembled a group of top footwear engineers and designers, and set them on the task of creating the world's most technically innovative performance riding boots. They started by re-designing the outsole, rethinking the arch support system and finally taking a hard look at the suitability of "traditional" last shape and fit. While they were building the technology platform for Ariat Kids boots, they were also talking to hundreds of top riders who helped in the design and development of the final product.
In 1993, Ariat shipped their first pair of boots, and today Ariat is the world leader in performance equestrian footwear, offering a full range of English and Western riding boots and casual footwear for kids. Whether your child is training to be a professional equestrian athlete or they're a novice rider, you will find an Ariat Kids boot with the performance technology that is perfect for them.

I bought these for my granddaughter. They are the perfect fit, and she absolutely LOVES them! Her feet are wide and her tennis shoes and dress shoes have to be purchased in wide widths. These boots work great, even with a thick sock on, so I'd say these are not for kids with narrow feet. She wears these with jeans and skirts and looks really cute! Considering she puts these boots on everyday, I'd say this was money WELL spent! And as always, Zappos.com did an amazing job with fast, free shipping! We buy all our shoes/boots from Zappos!

My daughter wears these for riding. They are beautiful and comfortable. They run a little wide, especially at the heel, however, so sometimes they slip off when she is riding bareback. Might want to order a half size down!

I bought these for my 3.5 year old daughter last year in the pink and they still look great with lots of wear. she is rough on shoes because she has the habit of walking on her tips. She usually messes up the toes of her shoes because of how she walks but not these boots. I bought them one full size larger then she wore last year because i wanted them last for the price. She had a wide foot last year and these fit great. I am definitely going to order the same boot when she finally outgrows her current pair. The pink ones match so many of her clothes. They are so comfortable that she wears them to the park often. I would recommend these for any little girl who wants cute and comfortable boots.
I'd also recommend: Stride Rite and Nike
