For this price range, you are getting a pretty good boot. If you can invest at a higher price, though, your feet will be more comfortable. The Ariat Highland feels very stiff from the inside...like cardboard, and it does not conform to or support the foot. The zipper is stiff and I am worried (if I were keeping these boots) that it would get stuck or malfunction. However, the style is very cute; these look from the outside like a more expensive boot, just like the photos on the site. I think I will be spending more time in my synthetic Franco Sartos and leather Cole Haan, Dr. Martens, and Old Gringo boots.

Having worn and loved Ariat riding boots for years, I was so excited to get these functional fashion boots. It seems like the quality has gone down from what I'm used to. The smooth leather is faded in spots and the suede is very rough. There are also a lot of loose threads on the stitching, and as another reviewer noted the zipper does not seem high quality. Despite all of that I still like the boots and they're very comfortable and perfect fit for my somewhat narrow calves. In my riding boots I have always had to size up, (I'm a 7.5/8, more 8) so I was nervous about ordering 7.5 in these but they are just right, even a tiny bit big. Not as happy as I thought I would be, especially given the high price, but ultimately satisfied enough to keep them.

Love this boot! It is so fashionable with the leather and suede mix and the buckles. The zippers make the boots very easy to take on and off. They fit true to size. They do not have a lot of cushioning, but I found that to be the case with most fashionable boots (although my Jambu Colorados are amazingly comfortable). They also are not the warmest boot, but I have taken care of that by adding a cold weather insert. That all being said, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I almost bought them in brown as well...but I chose the Jambu Colorado in brown instead. You can't go wrong with Zappos! Thanks!

Love the boot; however, the circumference is not 15 as stated. At best the circumference is 13/14. If your calf measurement is 15 inches or larger, you will not be able to zip up the zipper.

These are comfortable and cute looking boots. They are a bit tall for us short women (they are just under the knee for me at 5'1") as well as snug for those with calfs. They feel like they will stretch though to accommodate over time. Otherwise these are very cute.

These boots are awesome. I receive so many compliments every time I wear them. I was comfortable walking around in them shopping all day. Of course, shipping was in typical Zappos fashion... fast. Try them, you will love them.

I got these boots yesterday and I'm afraid I have to send them back. They are darling, and look great with a dress or skirt, but I found them to be too rigid on the top of my foot/ankle. Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't bend my foot comfortably to walk up the stairs, and I sure couldn't have driven my car and pushed in the clutch comfortably. Too bad cause otherwise they fit perfectly.

I love these boots! I needed something without a heel that I could wear with pants or a skirt. I rolled the dice with these, and they are, by far, the most comfortable boots that I have. I got half a size larger so I could wear socks. I usually wear a 9, and they were great barefoot, but too snug with socks. I am on my feet all day, and I find I do not want to take these boots off, even once I am home. I recommend these hot boots!
