Well made boot and perfect for western styling. Toe box a little snug for me and the heel a little too loose. Have a normal width foot with a narrow heel and a bunion. Felt a full size larger than marked. Love the boot - my foot just isn't a good match. Very comfortable and looks like it's built to last!

This is my first pair of cowboy boots. I've had a few different styles of Ariat shoes and paddock boots before but never these cowboy style boots before. As always, Ariat shoes are true to form and fit my feet perfectly (size 8 medium). Boots were comfy right out of the box, so easy to slip on and off and very stylish. Perfectly comfortable to walk in all day. Wish I'd taken the plunge years ago with these comfy boots!

This is the first time I have ordered from Zappos. It has been a great experience! For the boots, they are fantastic! They are the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. I do have a narrow foot, so I was a little unsure of how they would work for me. They were perfect the first few times I wore them, but since they are leather, they stretch. I added the insert that I have to add to all my shoes and again they were perfect! My hubby says I should get the brown ones too since he sees me in my black ones all the time!

Wonderfully made boot -- great deal! Crazy comfortable with decent arch support and a removable insole...I can hardly believe it is a boot and not a sneaker. I love the quiet non-slip rubber sole. I wear a 7.5 heel and an 8 sneaker normally. The 7.5 Ariat fits perfect! It is mis-listed as having a 9.5" shaft. It is actually 11" tall from the top of the 1.5" heel (12.5" total). It is such a great boot that Justin tried to copy it with their Stampede collection. The R-toe is the classic Cowboy style, but I returned it in favor of a more flashy fashionable J-toe (listed on Zappos as simply the "Heritage Western," opposed to the "Heritage Western R-toe"). It almost the same boot, save the toe and circumference. One problem for me with the R-toe (that is not a problem with the J-toe) is the circumference at the top of the shaft is 14" (.5" bigger than the J-toe) and the boot is made of softer leather than the J-toe, so it makes my skinny legs look like they are stuck in a too wide bucket. The J-toe is more stiff and straight and fitted to my calf.

I really love these boots. They are very comfortable a little pull to get on but it is worth it. I would wear them all the time if they fit the fashion. the look is great as a western boot.

These are the best boots I\'ve ever owned. Not only are they gorgeous when you get them, but they just get better looking with time. If they are a bit snug at first don\'t give up on them! In a week or so they will be so comfortable you won\'t ever want to take them off. I don\'t ride horses or anything but I find these shoes very fashionable. They can be casual or dressy and they go with just about anything. I highly recommend these shoes.

Love these boots! Wore them brand new and walked for miles in sloppy, wet weather. They were completely comfortable. Got soaked through, but recovered well. My feet were happy at the end of the day.

This was my first pair of cowboy boots. They take a little getting used to! Your heel does not touch the back of the boot so they almost feel like a pair of clogs that wrap around your instep but don't touch your heel. It took several days to get used to them, but they are so comfortable! I love them and would like another pair in brown! And they are dressy enough for a skirt or look great with jeans. Great for slushy Colorado winter weather.

My daughter has these boots and raved about them. Now I have them also and am delighted with my purchase. Even with a resolving case of plantar fasciitis, I can walk in these boots all day. Very stylish and so comfortable. Zappos' speed of delivery is amazing, less than 24 hrs after ordering!

Happy Purchase! The boot is extremely comfortable. I bought the "daisy" one in brown in blue a while back and the black one has been easier to break in. I am trying to wear these boots as often as possible, since they are easy to throw on and get out and about.

Great Boots - Great Service - These are the most comfortable cowboy boots I have ever worn. The first time I wore them; I went shopping and had them on for hours with no problems. The Zappos experience was wonderful, as well. I ordered the boots on Tuesday, regular shipping and received them on Thursday of the same week!

Good looking boots - I really like these boots, but they feel a little snug. I wear a size 9 and most size 9's fit me perfectly. I don't know if my foot is getting wider, but the last couple of pairs of shoes that I have bought have been a little narrow. I've been wearing them around the house to break them in.
