I didn't buy these at Zappos but at a local western shop (and paid more! Should have stuck with Zappos!) Anywho, these are great boots. I love them because they are rugged, well made, fit great and look awesome. Oh, and they are the most comfortable boots I have owned. I've had Laredo, and Dan Posts, and these are a million light years better. So comfortable - I can shop for hours with my wife and not feel like my feet are going to fall off! I usually wear a 12 wide in Ariat boots, but these round toed Ropers fit perfect in a 12 D.

Brands I'd also recommend: ariat and Luchesse if I were rich

These boots are exceptionally comfortable. I did not think a boot could be so comfortable. I wear them for riding--horses--and just around and they are perfect.

Great fit and great service by Zappos. May run 1/2 smaller than norm. I love these boots. I had no break in required; they fit from day one.

I rated these 3 years ago after having them 1 year. I've worn these 4 years, all day, everyday in all kinds of activities. The uppers are beginning to split from the sole and one toe is tearing loose from the sole. I'll patch 'em up and keep wearing them, have a new pair waiting in the wing. I love the comfort of these and the rubberized sole is pretty non-slip. They don't breathe real well, and I'm not wild about the style. But they are well-made, hold up to a lot of wear and are a great value. While riding, I've been bitten on the toe and stomped on a few times on the ground, no damage to the boot or me (so far).

I\'ve had these boots for about 3 months now and I really do like them. I wear them 2-3 times a week but they still seem just a little tight, but much better than when I first got them. I plan on ordering another pair of Ariats soon but will order them a 1\/2 size larger.

Very solid boot, but I read a review saying the boot felt a full size smaller than marked. I wear a 9.5, so I ordered a 10.5. When they arrived, even they felt a bit snug, but after about 3 days of wear, the leather stretched so much that I now swim in them. I would have been better off ordering a 9.5 and letting the leather stretch. Also beware, they might feel slightly narrow. Even though I got a full size too big, the width is still snug even after the leather stretched. I don’t know how the width would be if I ordered the proper size, but it probably would be too narrow. In sum, high quality, great price, great look, great durability, but some size issues. The leather STRETCHES.

Great boots! I bought these for my husband as a replacement for the Ariat boots that he's had for 11 years! And his old boots are still ok, but they don't looks so good after all this time. The new boots are beautiful. The only problem is that they are a little narrow and will take some time to break in.

I bought a pair of boots from Zappos for a Christmas present. I had looked everywhere for a pair of boots in wide width and no one had them in stock until I discovered Zappos. The customer service was excellent and I received the boots the very next day. The return policy is about the best I've ever seen. The total experience was great!

I recently purchased this boot for riding and everyday winter wear. I normally wear a 7 1/2 double E in a men's tennis shoe like New Balance, but could have maybe gone to an 8 in this boot. The 8 1/2 is a little long, but it is working fine. Too bad the women's don't run wider than a B in this style; that would have worked nicely for my instep, since the women's instep allow for more room than men's. I tried on a womens 9 1/2 B and it was just a little too snug. All in all this boot works better than any others I tried, and believe me, I tried a lot. I have a hard foot to fit especially in a boot. I have a high instep and wide feet. I also have a bigger than average calf. This boot is working well to address all my needs. Zappos professionalism and responsiveness helped me find the style and fit I wanted. A very nice boot, a good fit and great customer service.

What you see is what you get - I just received these boots from Zappos in short order. They are exactly what is shown on line. ALL the reviewers' opinions are pretty much on the mark. I have a long narrow foot and when I put the boots on they felt great. I walked around the house and kept the boots on for several hours going up and down our stairs. I am a walker and normally wear shoes like New Balances and these boots are very comfortable in comparison and very good looking. Based on other shoes and boots I owned, these boots are going to wear very well. They are well built. They are not made for a wide foot. If you want to wear thick socks I would purchase a size larger or purchase a wicking sock. I will be wearing these boots at work, play and at the office. Zappos is a very good company. I won't hesitate to order from them again.

An excellent choice - The color of the boots is just dark enough. The leather has an "oiled" finish that will age perfectly.

Incredible?!?! I never write reviews but, I just gotta this time. Not only did I drive all over LA looking for boots under 1000 dollars made to touch something other than Bentley peddles, but also, Zappos really does have every boot. Seems like it anyway. So, I got home at 3pm, ordered up these Ariat Heritage Ropers thinking I would see them in a coupla days and the NEXT MORNING I was woke up at the crack of 11am by the UPS guy with the new boots?!?! So, see? Like 15 hours later I had my new boots? That plain never happens. Kudos to Zappos! AND the boots are perfect. Besides takin' em on n off, they fit like gloves (foot gloves I guess) and seems like I have had em for 20 years. It's been 4 days. Glad I ordered the "wide" option for a more realistic fit and they sure look...well they look plain cool. I know I was the only cowboy at the wine bar last night and the boots kept me above the fray even if I didn't rope no heffers. Zappos and Ariat are an incredible combo!!!!!

Great Dude Ranch boots!! My wife bought these for our dude ranch trip. Comfort was my main priority. Here I am at the dude ranch and these boots are perfect. These new boots look like they've been on the ranch for years. Highly recommend!
